Breonna Taylor case in Louisville. Three counts against only one officer, Brent Hankison. No manslaughter charges or charges against any other officers in the debacle.
(1) A person is guilty of wanton endangerment in the first degree when, under circumstances manifesting extreme indifference to the value of human life, he wantonly engages in conduct which creates a substantial danger of death or serious physical injury to another person.

So had he had better aim, he wouldn't have been charged? The indictment relates to his firing into the neighboring apartment. The more things change....

That's why the other two officers had a self-defense justification, including the officer identified as having fired the fatal shot(s). Out of twelve witnesses, only one apparently testified that he or she heard the warning prior to the forced entry into the apartment.

The thing is the people who are going to rampage tonight (if that happens) aren't conscious voters. They're people who don't believe in the system because they've been given no reason to. My guess is 99% of those folks don't plan on voting at all, think it doesn't make a difference, and don't care about sentiment like this.

Out of those 12 guess who AG David Cameron believed and cited in his news conference... Even worse, we will likely never know whether Cameron even bothered to bring in the witnesses who would have testified that they heard no warning in order to allow the grand jury to determine credibility because of grand jury secrecy. KY Code: (1) Subject to the right of a person indicted to procure a transcript or recording as provided by Rule 5.16(3), and subject to the authority of the court at any time to direct otherwise, all persons present during any part of the proceedings of a grand jury shall keep its proceedings and the testimony given before it secret, except that counsel may divulge such information as may be necessary in preparing the case for trial or other disposition.

“ The order of authority derives from God, as the Apostle says [in Romans 13:1–7]. For this reason, the duty of obedience is, for the Christian, a consequence of this derivation of authority from God, and ceases when that ceases. But, as we have already said, authority may fail to derive from God for two reasons: either because of the way in which authority has been obtained, or in consequence of the use which is made of it.” - Aquinas

Some of the sociopath's "very fine people" are having a Trump rally in Portland. Congrats, Republicans! PORTLAND, Ore. — Thousands of members of the far-right Proud Boys plan to mass at a park here on Saturday afternoon, setting up another clash of liberal and conservative extremes in a city that has become the public front line for combustible — and deadly — political conflict. The so-called Western chauvinist group espouses pro-Trump, police-friendly rhetoric, but its members have a reputation for sparking fights with the far left that devolve into mayhem. www.washingtonpost.com/nation/2020/09/25/portland-oregon-proud-boys-rally/
