The NCAA today announced that fifteen teams from ten schools would be ineligible for post-season play due to failures to achieve passing Academic Progress Rating scores:
Alabama A&M: Men's basketball, Men's track and field, Women's soccer Alabama State: Men's basketball Coppin State: Women's track and field Delaware State: Men's basketball Grambling State: Men's track and field Howard: Football McNeese State: Football Prairie View A&M: Football Southern: Men's cross country, Men's track and field Stephen F. Austin: Men's baseball, Football, Men's Basketball
The APR scores at issue here cover the 2015-6 through 2018-9 academic years.

These are mainly HBC. I wonder what is going on here. Many HBCU's have been accused on cutting corners of budgets by not investing in compliance. A compliance officer that is not following the latest NCAA rules is setting that department up for failure.
