I just saw the highlights of the UNC game in the ACC/BE Challenge...wow....I now know why there is so much David Edwards fuss on the board...he was great and I bet that is why Pops gave AI such a long leash...can you imagine a team of Edwards, Tillman, Hill, Zo and Deke? We were so close to having 2yrs of that lineup....😩 Such a thrilling performance by David at the Garden.Unfortunately, JT wasn't quite ready for that kind of a free flowing talent in his offenses. So sad. Rest in Peace David. Meadowlands.

R.I.P. I remember him, but do not remember why he transferred to A&M...

R.I.P. I remember him, but do not remember why he transferred to A&M... "I respect John Thompson, and I think he's a good coach," Edwards told the New York Times in 1993. "[But] me and Coach Thompson didn't see eye to eye." www.hoyabasketball.com/players/d_edwards.htm

Incredible how poised and electric he was as a freshman. Only AI is ahead of him in the ball dribbling annals at GU.

RIP David! A player I would have loved to see play 4 years at GU.

This is just horrible, horrible news. My deepest condolences to his family and to those that cared for him. May he RIP.
