I had posted this in another thread, but it probably deserves it's own space. FLHoya created a list of the top 20 memorable but under-appreciated Hoyas games from 2000-2020 and the top 20 deep cuts Hoyas games from 2000-2020. These lists excludes the obvious games, like 2006 Duke or 2007 UNC or 2013 Cuse, but rather games that aren't talked about enough but were great for a variety of reasons. Since the format on Twitter might be difficult, I'll provide the lists here in subsequent posts. Are there any other games that stand out?

Top 20 memorable but under-appreciated Hoyas games from 2000-2020
1. 2007 BET semi vs ND - Incredibly well-played start to finish. Wild point swings and plot twists. ND can't miss from 3 in the 1st and gets a huge lead. Tory Jackson is unguardable late. Jeff Green goes full God-mode but ND still has a clean shot to win.
2. 2001 NCAA 1st Round vs. Arkansas - A literal buzzer-beater (after a very long, tense review) to win the first NCAA Tournament game of my freshman year. Hoyas were down 10 briefly in the 2H. Nat Burton (I still have a Burton shirt) waving off Braswell will always be hilarious.
3. 2007 vs. Pitt at Verizon - Broke a 1st place tie and ended up deciding reg season title. Levance Fields chest bump game. 20,038 in attendance, one of the 3 best VC crowds in 20 years IMO. JWall's steal after the FT is among the loudest its ever been.
4. 2008 at Marquette - In 5 mins real time you get: The Esherick big head in MU's student section, The only favorable call GU ever got from John Cahill, Tom Crean and the diet soda, JWall's three FTs to tie the game in the final seconds, all called by Gus Johnson.
5. 2013 at UConn - Like #4, this game allowed Hoyas to win a reg season title (it was a 3-way tie in 2013 and GU got the 1 seed). I mean, just watch the video! This game is insane! 50% more awesome b/c it's at Gampel w/ the low angle hard camera.
6. Nov 2010 vs. Missouri - 111-102 in OT and the most irrationally fun game a JT3 team played.
7. 2006 NCAA 2nd round vs. Ohio St. - A dominant win and Hibbert performance in enemy territory.
8. 2001 vs. Cuse at MCI. - FLHoya's 1st Cuse game and 2nd best home crowd in 20 years.
9. 2003 NIT QF at UNC. - Esh! Matt Doherty! Drew Hall! A Final Four bid on the line! It's funny, but it was a good game!
10. 2003 vs. West Virginia at MCI (84-82 in OT). - Sweetney had 35 and 19. I'm told Craig Esherick had some thoughts about the officiating after the game.
11. 2005 NIT 2nd Round vs. CS-Fullerton at McDonough - Popular pick from people who attended
12. 2005 at Pitt - JT3's first BE win
13. 2007 NCAA Round 2 vs. BC - Closer than you remember!
14. 2006 at ND - 4-pt play and 2OT game after the Duke W
15. Dec 2011 at Louisville
16. Dec 2011 at Bama - Hollis GW 3
17. 2007 at Nova - Green's 3pt play
18. 2011 at Nova - Thundersnow
19. 2015 vs. Nova
20. Dec 2008 at UConn - Before that season went off the rails

Top 20 deep cuts Hoyas games from 2000-2020
1. 2002 vs. Syracuse - PRESTON'S CRYING. The successor to 2001's under-appreciated #8. Two straight home wins over a Top 10 rival.
2. 2001 at Seton Hall - Demetrius Hunter. 16th win in a 16-0 start and first as a Top 10 team. The home win 9 days earlier (over X-mas break) was a BFD, but this W over the rapidly imploding Hall had you thinking there was really something here.
3. 2002 at Cuse - Georgetown heroes of the Carrier Dome: Otto Porter, Charles Smith, Gerald Riley. With game #1 clinched a two game regular season sweep of the Orange. That's way more rare than you'd think.
4. 2006 vs. Cuse - The intersection of the re-birth of the program under JTIII and the re-boot of Hoya Blue. Even had a name: V-C Day.
5. 2005 at Nova - A seldom-remembered entrant in the fine tradition of "Georgetown ruins your stupid ceremony". Darrel Owens' walk-off FTs beat Nova at the 20th anniversary of the 1985 Final Four team at the Pavilion
6. 2008 vs. WVU - Patrick Ewing Jr. vs. John Beilein; "START THE TRACTOR"
7. 2008 Old Spice Classic vs. Maryland - HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA
8. 2011 Maui Invitational vs. Memphis - Tense, fun as hell, and a clutch tip-in to force overtime during the brief height of Peak Whittington.
9. 2009 at Nova - An entrant in the slightly fun-but-dubious annals of "THAT Georgetown team beat THAT good team?". The highly-dysfunctional 2009 Hoyas complete the road double over the BE's two eventual Final Four teams.
10. 2002 BET vs. Prov - The ending sequence is nutso.
11. 2007 vs. ND - 1st half blowout
12. 2002 at BC - Out of nowhere blowout for a team already leaking oil.
13. 2008 vs. Cuse - End of OT: Jeremiah Rivers vs. Jonny Flynn
14. 2011 vs. Louisville - Pitino grinds the same play into the ground the last 4 mins w/ no luck.
15. 2008 vs. Memphis - The sloppy OT cousin of the Maui game.
16. 2007 at ODU - ICE CREAM AND CAKE
17. 2011 at Cuse - 1st W there since Gerald Riley?
18. 2016 Maui Invitational vs. Oregon - SUUUUUUUURE...
19. 2014 Atlantis vs. UF - AXS TV!
20. 2012 vs. Marquette - For whatever reason, it makes a of their fans irrationally angry.

How about PE Jr.'s amazing block to beat WVA in 2008? What a finish following a dagger three by Jessie Sapp. "GOT IT!"
