That’s basically what happened with the center position last year. We kept recruiting over. Yes and I think it worked to the detriment of the team this year as the 4th center might help somewhere in the future but we sure could have used another wing. Of course who knew? As for next year I hope that the starting PG is McClung, a role which I think he is suited for and with his potential as a shoot/assist guard something that could make the entire team better immediately, without the growing pains of any freshman.

I'm pretty sure the current iteration of the Pub isn't remotely the same.

Does anyone have a link to his AAU stats? Looks like he plays for Dream Vision but I was having trouble finding stats.

He’s an impact player and our offense would be in good hands with him at the helm for the next couple of years. Smart kid too.
In my humble opinion....he is a more explosive, more athletic version of Akinjo with better form on his stroke. He likes to run and with our nba style offense he would thrive.

What is our connection (for lack of a better way to put it) to him...is there some link that would suggest that we have an advantage in his recruitment/a relationship, etc.? Do we have a realistic chance of getting a commitment? Who else is involved? Is the possible reclass from 21 to 20 an advantage for us? Appreciate any insights...

From his perspective why does he want to reclassify and become a Hoya in 2020? Does he not have the option of playing next year in college but for another program? Would love to land him; want to know from his side why he’d be Jones’ing to be a Hoya.

This kid was having fun and his family really into the game. Very good atmosphere for recruits today. This kid is potentially a program changing type recruit. Let’s hope we can get a verbal out of the weekend.

They’d be a nice duo. Add Mac, Qudus, Blair and the freshman and we’ve got something there.

He seemed pretty excited beforehand from a couple of his tweets, so glad to see it was "a lot more than I expected"

I certainly would love to have him and feel the staff needs a kid to take a chance on the Hoyas... but still I wonder why is he leaning the Hoyas way? He has time to weigh his options and look at many schools as he is a class of 21. Time is on his side. Not a knock on him and like I said Hoyas would start him from day 1 and program needs day 1 type talent.

If he gets on board early, he can start the relationship with the staff and university that much earlier....and help lay the foundation for a top class in ‘21. Moreover, very few schools offer what Georgetown does in terms of academics, culture, and basketball bloodlines. It’s that simple. He starts from day 1 so there is that as well. There is a huge value to him.
