didn't hollis Thompson play briefly for the knicks and 76ers Mostly 76ers, IIRC. Also, Henry Sims joined him with the 76ers for one season I think.

He had a partially guaranteed deal with the Kings in the pre-season, but was waived before the regular season began.

This is nuts. I imagine it will push their season ticket renewal rate even lower (if that's even possible). Paul Reed must have known this was in the works.

From The DePaulia:
"Leitao’s second tenure has also seen the program get in trouble with the NCAA. Last summer, the NCAA concluded that a former DePaul associate head coach violated the rules when he directed the former assistant director basketball of operations to provide impermissible recruiting benefits to a recruit. As a result, the NCAA suspended Leitao for the first three games of the 2019-20 season for failing to promote an atmosphere of compliance. The Blue Demons’ men’s basketball program was also placed on probation for three years. After Leitao got suspended and the program was placed on probation, the school announced in September that they were working on a contract extension."

Thanks for leaving the conference! Mintz is one of those players who had personal season-high games vs GU, specifically his second and third (not counting Creighton’s 2 OT games) seasons.

Not sure that he's available to Big East Conference schools, now that UConn has returned to its ancestral home.

DePaul's AD, Jean Lenti Ponsetto, has no idea how to find a basketball coach for the men's program. Not sure that the Vincentian university administrators really care, either.

Early Bracketology on ESPN:
1 Seed - Villanova 1 Seed - Creighton 9 Seed - UConn 9 Seed - Xavier
First 8 Out - Marquette & Butler
4 bids only would not be great for the conference.

That puts us in the bottom 5 of 11 teams. I hope we don’t end up bottom 3.
