I wonder if UConn is considered a BE school as of now and would fall under conference rules, i.e., sit two.

I think the official entry of UConn into the BE is this July, so, it seems another BE team would have until then to sign him.

Transfers are becoming the rule not the exception. That being said usually it's due to lack of playing time, thus our situation with Akinjo still is a unique one, with a guy getting as much PT as he was.

Transfers happened all the time, but usually it’s a bench player who wants to start somewhere else. We had the unique situation of losing key contributing players en masse.

UConn will be another team above us in the league. RJ Cole is going to carve us up. The basement with SJU and DePaul is not a good look. I expect that the UConn women will win the crown every year for the next decade plus.

ESPN has Creighton at #2? I could agree with this if Zeg wasn't coming off a major knee injury. It will be halfway through next season before he is nearing his preinjury play...

I thought the plan was for him to be ready for the NCAA's this year? It was. It wasn't a major knee injury like a torn ACL. I mean his half season assumption is crazy considering that Mac's injury was worse and we don't expect the same thing for our guys. Creighton returns everyone and will be really good.

Really??? I don't think he was even a starter for Butler for most of last year. Maybe he just wants to go through the process of NBA guys evaluating him (which I am not sure will even exist right now) and then will come back, but this doesn't make any sense. He is a player who looks the part sometimes and can have an impressive highlight film, but when you watch him play for an entire game, he is really underwhelming. Oh well

Oh well I could see his appeal to NBA teams. His college career was certainly full of question marks, but he's got an NBA frame and the ability to knock down 3s. That's half the battle as a backup SG/SF. If he can dial the consistency up from the outside, he should get some looks. I just wonder if he would've been better served by waiting a year and being the man @ Butler in '20-'21. Maybe he didn't see that happening, but with their grads & Battle leaving he would've been in line for a major uptick in minutes and production.
