My theory? Wahab stepped on Mac's foot in practice two weeks ago. Mac dropped a weight on Wahab's foot yesterday in the weight room. Boys will be boys.

So if Qudus can't go tomorrow and Tim has a good game (either starting or backing up Yurt), do we get the stream of posters blaming Pat for not seeing this move and being forced into it?

This is what I was worrying about since the four amigoes left, that we run out of players due to injury or sickness. Woe is us!

Or would say the team will play even stronger now down to 5 (that is if Y7 is still unavailable). The very reason you have quality backup in the wings.

“'I keep telling him about Wally Pipp,'Ewing said Thursday, recounting his conversations with third-string center Timothy Ighoefe.
"Pipp, Ewing explained to the 6-foot-11 freshman from Nigeria, was the New York Yankees’ veteran first baseman famously replaced by Lou Gehrig after sitting out a game because of a headache. It was Ewing’s way of telling the center, who has played 14 minutes all season, that with Mac McClung nursing a foot injury and Omer Yurtseven dealing with what Ewing called a bad ankle sprain, Ighoefe may soon hear his number called."

Them kids and their damn technology!!!! Almost every post is negative. Almost every post is either anti-Ewing, anti-McClung or both. The circumstances of the season, the game, the situation don't matter. Its always anti-Ewing or anti-McClung. The poster is doing this to play his own little game, to annoy people and to sow discord in this community. That is the definition of what an internet troll does. It's pretty sad. IMO, the best way to deal with this is to absolutely ignore every single post a troll makes. As the moderators pointed out recently, there is an easy way to accomplish this. I've never felt the need to do it before, but in this case it seems the best option to me. Perhaps in the absence of any reactions, the trolling doesn't accomplish its aims any longer, and it eventually stops. I can only speak for myself but if you choose to block, here is a quick guide: 1) Find any post by the poster you want to block 2) Click on their screen name 3) From their profile page on the far right side click on the gear icon 4) From the drop down menu choose "Block member" 5) Check the box for "Hide this member's posts" 6) Click on the Block Member button to confirm

The tongue in cheek one about old men yelling at the kids to get off their lawn? You can block me but then you won’t have the advantage of knowing what works for this team way before Pat is forced into it. Then you will look silly for giving Pat credit and saying nobody on here could’ve ever seen that coming. I’ll let you decide your own fate. I also love that I’m so anti but yet I’ve given Pat more credit for the talent level and recruiting than practically anyone on here. Just keep believing what you want though. Believe me I won’t lose sleep over it.

Email sent to season ticket holders tonight from Georgetown Athletics: " The Hoyas Need Your Help Against Providence Tomorrow!
Georgetown is playing like it's already March and making sure that they leave everything out on the court. Jagan Mosely, Terrell Allen, and Jahvon Blair all played the full 40 minutes in the Hoyas' win against Butler on Saturday! What's great about being back at Capital One Arena? Our fans can act as the 6th man. We need you and your friends at the arena tomorrow screaming and cheering on the Hoyas for the full 40 minutes! We'll leave you with this motivation: "Coach Thompson always talked about the junkyard dog - having a junkyard mentality. No matter what the adversity is, you scratch, you claw, and be able to come away with a win." - Head Coach Patrick Ewing"

Wait, what? He's telling Ighoefe that he's going to replace Mac or Yurtseven in the starting lineup?
