Ugly game, but great to see our guys step up. Georgetown’s last possession was obviously huge....but it was two passes in that sequence that made the difference. (1) Allen was double teamed and backed into a corner in the backcourt and somehow got it to Mosely. (2) Mosley’s no look dump off to yurt was a thing of beauty!!
Nice win.

I am happy for there mental state of mind playing hard but loosing, they needed this win bad. Maybe Mac get back soon and they can hang in there and win 3-4 ina row at some point and keep alive if they win3-4 in a row down the stretch.

That power slam by Yurt7 was pretty morale boosting as well.

I hope Yurt will remember that move and start dunking so hard players fear getting posted and hammered!

I’m not sure if that was a set play, but I’m glad that Blair gave it right back to Mosley for the drive and dish. That play was a thing of beauty and I salute the staff for either drawing it up or preparing the guys for the execution down the stretch.

This group of Hoyas can really break a press and take advantage of the open floor it creates. Anderson relies on it and the Hoyas took advantage in first half at Cap One. It was notable he tried it yesterday only once and it ended with the Yurtseven basket. If you caught Anderson’s remarks, he took responsibility for using the press on that one play against the Hoyas. Anyway no question our guys are well-coached in press defense and press offense.

The last bucket 100% should have been an and-one. Another missed foul call on SJU.

Today there were two.
(1) Allen’s dagger of a three at the end of the shot clock to put us up 6 late in the game. Wow ....that was a huge shot.
(2). Jahvon’s full court pass to a streaking Pickett for the dunk.
