Looks like he's on his visit to Pacific today, according to his Instagram stories

Rooting for this kid…just like I did for Vee Samford. Want to see him do well. Class act.

Good luck to Tyler. Hopefully, he's happier at his new school.

I really wish Tyler well. Should get good playing time at UoP, they need help. UoP isn't under a spotlight and should have time to grow.

Hope he understood his market value when he chose to leave. I mean when he was averging like 3 pts a game for one of the worst programs in the nation that went 0-21 in the conference, what kind of market value can you expect? If he had been given Dante like minutes and averaged as many pts as Dante did, maybe he would have had more options?

It appears his leader is a bottom level WCC team who went 8-22 last year. I hope Tyler has lots of success - but if that's not a clear sign he isn't viewed as a high major player then I don't know what is. The fact posters still think he could've been anything more than a back of bench contributor on a decent team in the Big East is hard to understand. We were not even that much better than Pacific last season

If he had been given Dante like minutes and averaged as many pts as Dante did, maybe he would have had more options? At no point did he look like he earned some of Dante's minutes (barring one game). Maybe that's more the point. On a team with a horrible record and with Dante being more bad Dante than good Dante, he still didn't distinguish himself. Maybe he's not a high D1 player? He had one great game. Maybe he's found his level. I don't mean that as a shot at him. Many here were excited about his potential. Maybe they're right. I just never saw it. Now that he's moved on, I'm still hoping they're right as I was when he was a Hoya. Either way, best of luck to him.

It's not as though DH had a great year yet Tyler still didn't supplant him in any meaningful way. The program didn't screw him. He didn't show that he earned more time. Even with Dante regressing. There was one game in which any objective observer could have said, maybe Tyler should be given more run. One. If that's the very weak branch you're clinging to, have at it.

But whats the point of debating whether he ‘earned’ or did not ‘earn’ minutes on a team that went winless...? Dont think Tyler was gonna be a savior but the whole concept of justifying ‘earning minutes’ on a winless team is meaningless under such terrible coaching that we see ourselves losing to a bad Ivy team? I was only saying if Tyler had more minutes and produced in those minutes, hr might have had more options - problem is this program’s performance rivaled that of D2 programs that getting so little minutes here would not have gotten you anywhere

We just didn’t have the luxury of time to see Tyler flourish. Wish him all the best!

I believe his family thought he was 1 and done at one point…so I have no idea about his ability to evaluate himself accurately.

I mean to be fair, he was a 5 star rated around his fresh-soph year (obv we all know he finished as in between 3-4 stars) Every parents of 5 star players think their kids will be 1 and done
