Loved the arms-raised jubilation of Jagan and Q. Also Patrick, as he walked toward the handshake line, sticking out that long arm to point at George for 3 or 4 seconds in acknowledgment of what a clutch moment it was for a kid who works hard without many opportunities to shine.

Apologies to Blair whose 30 points were fabulous but, to me, I will always remember this as the Muresan game.

Timmy has already played so isn't a Red Shirt. One minutes playing no Red Shirt (unless under extraordinary circumstances can get a waiver, which is usually family emergency or severe medical issue). And Tim was next up after Q yesterday, as PE said in post-game press conference. Patrick also got Tim and Q confused, which I found a bit funny as did he when he corrected himself. Tim up next could be good.

I just about stood and applauded from my seat in front of the TV when I saw that. Truly a great moment for player and coach.

That's what non- professional sports is about...happy for him..and his family.

These kids have the same practice regimen, the same academic requirements, off-season training and the challenges of balancing school with sport for four years as do the scholarship players. They also rarely get the satisfaction of playing and even then almost never get meaningful minutes. Lots of talk here about the warrior in Mosley, the addition of Allen, and the future of Yurtseven. The support tomorrow for this kid should be every bit as loud and long as for any of the others. He is one of the reasons college basketball flourishes. Muresan could have transferred to another school and played. His selfless nature, effort and support of the program are every bit as important as the charges Mosley takes, the assists from Allen and the points from Yurtseven.
