I’ll also say this - I would rather lose with this team than win with what we had.

All wrong. Co-MVPs through ommission - James Akinjo - Uncle Lavar --------------- The way the team has played since his departure speaks for itself.

I gotta give a shout to our fans at the game, too. They showed up, and they were strong!

There is a reason why Allen played all but 2 minutes. Notice what the offense looked like when he wasn’t in. Blair bailed us out with a deep 3.

This team with all of its challenges is exponentially easier to root for, win or lose

For this game, I will say Mosely. However, I feel like the season MVP so far is Allen. Without him, we likely go off the proverbial cliff.
Also, the fact everyone could be in this discussion speaks for itself. I feel like we will have many different MVPs this season.
And I am in complete agreement that this team is so much more enjoyable to watch and support. They seem to be a real TEAM, playing for a larger purpose.

Obviously ...the entire team is stepping up. If I had to pick one...it was Allen!! Agreed. Haven’t seen a Hoya PG navigate Cuse’s zone like that in a long time. Beautiful to watch.

I go for Mosely, I think it was his best game ever! He showed the characteristics that were talked of when joined the Hoyas. I am delighted with the team's play.

I go for Mosely, I think it was his best game ever!It would be tough to argue with that dc. Maybe someone has stats that could suggest some other game. But from my POV, I am in total agreement. Mosely's best game in a Hoya uni. It was a total game. Senior leadership. I must admit, I never thought he would be this good. But he is. Just in time too. Team has a bit of that "Reggie and the Miracles" feeling to it. No Reggie, but outstanding performances coming from all over. And lots of miracles. Mac is recognized by the team as their primary scorer. Allen is a wise, experienced, mature and calming presence. Yurt is dangerous and needs to be doubled. He is a monster rebounder and a good passer. He can shoot. He just needs to toughen up inside and stop getting picked or blocked. But he's a very valuable piece of the puzzle. Boeheim switched the plan at half and had two guys jump Mac every time he touched the ball. But he is a good passer too. Double Mac, double Yurt - guys will be open. Our open guys hit their shots. Pickett had a bunch of boards and played good D, but we still need more from him on O. There is room for improvement on this team, and strong motivation to do so. They can see the results. Team is building, performing better, getting smarter, gaining confidence. The Big East Seasson lies ahead with a very strong conference this year. Tough games coming. Nonetheless, there is so much to be happy about right now. It's going to be an exciting season!

Couldn't agree more...there is still work to be done, but the train is definitely on the right track...greatness is borne out of adversity...

I'm getting so used to this kind of play from Allen that I hope I don't take it for granted. It's great to see, and what I expected after watching him last year Must be so satisfying doing it his "hometown" as a grad.
