Yes sir, welcome home Mr. Sibley. Georgetown nation is excited to watch you wear a Hoya uniform.

Anyone else notice the Oak Hill guard, #1, in the Sibley highlight video? Anyone know who he is? Kid made some beautiful passes. Sibley is #1 on Oak Hill, but #1 on his AAU team is 5 star Jalen Johnson, Duke commit. Figures. You know the kid is good when he shines on another players highlight reel.

Yup, which is why in the other thread one poster was worried about Kobe Clark being ranked 399, but watch any Cameron Fletcher(UK commit on his HS team) package and he jumps out then read the comments under the video and everyone asks who is #24 he is a really good team player.

Always good to see our guys putting in the work. If he bumps up his handle and J, sky’s the limit

I’m so excited to watch Jamari play this year. Haven’t had a Hoya with his raw potential in quite some time. Checks a lot of the boxes- size, length, athleticism, solid shooting form. But from there it’s all up to him and our staff to determine whether he can harness all that potential into something great.

That is fair, but I’d be willing to bet Pickett would be a different player today if he had four years with Coach Crouch rather than two. Jamari (hopefully) will have that privilege.

What am I (we) missing? Top recruit on a young, pretty inexperienced team in a rebuilding year. Yet before the season begins he is not just benched but not even suiting up? Coach admits he's not hurt or sick. After last year I thought Coach would be sure to recruit guys who would be on board from day one. I know, I know, this happens on many teams so don't get worked up. But like I've said in earlier posts I just don't want anymore drama this year.

Nolan (nationwidenolan on Twitter; not sure of his HT handle) was pretty down on Sibley’s short term impact. I believe he posted here about it. His analysis is generally very good. hm

When the time is right, he'll play. No drama at all.
