Our lack of perimeter shooting is just as much a problem as our lack of perimeter defense. Really thought Yurt would pose a similar threat as Govan did but so far he hasn’t even so much as stepped foot outside the line. Missing Greg a factor too. Pat was not a fan of Jessie going outside but Jessie didn’t really care. Yurt listens to Pat which may or may not be a good thing. |

Considering how often we got punched in the mouth early, being down 8 isn't so bad. However, 14 turnovers. That's more than we should have in a full game, much less a half. Also, more disturbing, I've seen no indication, either through the game I watched or following on the computer, that our defense is any better than it was last season. If that continues to be the case, it's going to be another dissatisfying season.

Law of averages are not in your favor when you play that game regardless of shooting or defense. |

Man besides James nobody is shooting well....need someone other than James to hit a J... Pickett was shooting well and then just could not get into the offense because the guards cannot get the ball up court without a turnover and are not allowing this team to get into any kind of half-court offense. Uptempo is great if you can run it without 14 TOs in a half. |

Someone that knows basketball better than me...can anyone figure out why we continue to start so poorly? Feels like we are constantly in comeback mode.

Someone that knows basketball better than me...can anyone figure out why we continue to start so poorly? Feels like we are constantly in comeback mode. We come out with fancy moves that we cannot complete and end up in turnovers. We come out casual and the other team punches us in the mouth and we cannot respond until the second half. Very surprised Ewing teams come out to play like this... |

Because the starters we have are flawed and other teams seemingly know how to take advantage of it. It’s not hard since all you have to do is watch the start of any other of our games. Chapman is a terrible coach and he figured it out. |

On the offensive end we have no offense and certain players usually try to do too much at the start of games which hardly ever works
