14pts in 14 min of 2nd half play smh. They will probably be way better in conference play and do just enough to keep another team out of the tourney. No way they should be down 10 to COC with 6 min left. Oof... The flex offense has worked very well for Cooley over the years & he's basically abandoned it for this garbage...

Pipkins, who's shooting 32% from the field, just shot a contested 3 down 7 and got it punched back in his face... Bro, what are you doing??

The problem with Providence is they can't shoot. 43% from the field as a team, and 34% from 3. Idk why Cooley isn't letting Reeves rock since he's the only kid on that team with potential as a shooter. Pipkins has pretty much taken his minutes and his confidence seems shot.

Howard just dropped 51 on USC... Whoa!! Effortlesly... It didn't even seem like he took a lot of shots to get there.

We are seeing the slow decline of the Big East, unable to keep up with Power 5 conferences. The only thing that has kept the BE from mid-major status has been over-achieving Villanova. I believe I posted something similar last year.

I believe I posted something similar last year. Think this is a little extreme. BE has still made a significant jump up since last year. We could have more tournament teams than any other conference. That’s parity for sure but wouldn’t call it a decline.

Creighton survives the furious comeback and gets a quality Quadrant 1 win vs. Texas Tech.

Overall a good day for the Big East, except for Providence and Coach Underachiever.

RIP to our status as the only Big East team with a win against a ranked team this year.

Remember after the conference realignment, we thought we were going to own this place (kind of like how Gonzaga runs the West Coast Conference, ugh). It will be sweeter this time, we would have earned it. The conference, top to bottom, is better off than it was right after the alignment. Don't get me wrong, the last season of the old conference (Louisville, Cincinnati, Notre Dame, etc.) was a beast. But it is what it is. Things change and you have to make the best of it. Still kind of hurts though. Here we go! www.syracuse.com/orangebasketball/2013/02/jim_boeheim_on_big_easts_break.html

I remember Pipkins tried to punk McClung on Big East media day.
It's still a very long season.
