Don't recognize James with his hair chopped off. Wahab also shaved off his hair this week!

Myron Gardiner also played well and looks to be a contributor - one Mac-like absolutely a megadunk. Several other dunks and a couple of misses also. All in all he is a good recruit.Plyed with Akinjo's team.

Who's in charge of the player-by-player reports this year?

Who's in charge of the player-by-player reports this year? Not sure if he's doing it this year, but LCPolo18 always does a great job with that.

Who's in charge of the player-by-player reports this year? Not sure if he's doing it this year, but LCPolo18 always does a great job with that. I saw vv83 there today and hopefully he will be doing his typical summaries like previous summers! I was only there for the second half of the first game, the second game, and the first half of the third game today. Akinjo looked in control of the game and his passing might be even better than last year. Gardner had a monster open court dunk and was fighting for lots of rebounds. Blair was super active on offense driving to the basket and sometimes running the offense. Allen plays super fast but in control and I was really impressed with how he plays. Yurtseven had a tough matchup with Jay Huff (UVA) but looked strong and smooth and he scored in a variety of ways. Wahab looked really smooth in the post, but still a little tentative. Alexander was active on both ends getting some good rebounds, and he hit a nice looking three before I had to head out. I also walked by Wilson on my way out and man does he look tall!

I'll be posting reports on the games on Casual Hoya. The posts will usually go up some time on Monday, unless I get really ambitious after I get home from the games on Saturday/Sunday night!

Gardner is a bulldog...Alexander has a man's/pro body...and has a very nice overall game...I was particularly impressed with his ball handling and passing (Gardner too)...both are extremely athletic and have range on their jumpers, but I think each has to work on consistency...love the physical nature of their games (and both appear to be willing defenders) and their versatility...Yurt needs to work on his quickness/hops off the ground as he appears a touch heavy legged...but has excellent post moves...

Pick is going to have to step up if he wants minutes next season. I think he will rise to the challenge. A confident Jamarko can help lift this team higher than we dare dream about.

Pickett was more aggressive at times today than Usual. And he avoided turnovers for the most part
