Not trying to sound like a jerk but the league happens pretty much every summer. I'm sure no official schedule has been released though. As soon as it is you can bet someone will post all the info almost immediately.

You pay going in, not on the way out. I've had some Friday's they couldn't be bothered to take money and waved those coming to games in (don't count on this happening).

10 days out - do we really have zero roster or schedule info? A true sign of a strong team is doing nothing to promote your product because you are confident the results will speak for themselves

A true sign of a strong team is doing nothing to promote your product because you are confident the results will speak for themselves I'm pretty sure that historically, this kind of info usually is not put out to the public until the week of the first games. So nothing unusual about knowing nothing but the starting/ending dates of the league 10 days from opening day.

So nothing unusual about knowing nothing but the starting/ending dates of the league 10 days from opening day. Usually teams start leaking out the week before to a few days prior mostly from schools saying what teams their players are on. Traditionally (with Kenner tradition (other than shoots....2 and the consession stand lore) is like a piece of tissue paper in the wind, it shifts) Tombs has a couple top freshmen and a grad or two over the stretch, Clydes may have two top Hoyas, but the rest are spread across the rest of the teams. Some players (usually guys out of college) will play on more than one team. Most years there is a shared Google doc that is kept that is the rough roster for who is on what team and what number (numbers may also be inconsistent) and this isn't really kept until the first weekend.

A true sign of a strong team is doing nothing to promote your product because you are confident the results will speak for themselves Georgetown doesn't run Kenner it is just held there. This is run like every other Nike ProAm and other summer ProAm leagues in that it has to follow NCAA rules. This isn't remotely about teams putting things together but getting players working against roughly equal competition. NCAA doesn't allow more than 2 players from one university on any team, but other than that it is fluid. Fans try to think it has structure and run by the schools, but they aren't. Knowing one of the organizers it is relatively unstructured and runs a lot like some grassroots leagues. Important to keep in mind, this is a Nike sponsored and locally organized thing, not a Georgetown thing.

That should give you an idea of where your expectations should be set.

I had the impression that last year's info came out a bit earlier and was hoping that the trend would continue. For now, we will wait patiently...... I guess.... For what it's worth, the Kenner League twitter account just sent out a tweet about "July 6 at McDonough" with a picture of Howard U's Kenneth Blakeney, so there's that.

Their tweet says July 6th but also Sundays in July. Is the first game this Sat or Sunday?
