Take all 8 weeks, Oak Hill don't need you as much as the Hoya's do!

The more I think about the possibility that we might currently have all of our '20-'21 starters on the roster right now (eek)... the more I think Jamari will play a big role for us next year.
It's weird that our most heralded recruit is perhaps the one who's discussed the least on the board. With only Jamorko at the 4 and no surefire starter at the 3 -- Sibley will need to be productive no matter what. I know there's been discussion of his athleticism outpacing his skill level & strength, but I see a pretty solid all-around talent there. He suffers a bit, numbers-wise, because of the talent around him in HS (3 other top 100 starters, several other 3/4 star teammates) -- but I think he'll be better for that at the next level.
If Mac returns, I'm guessing we go Harris/McClung/Blair/Pickett/Wahab to begin the year. Sibley (and Clark) will get plenty of opportunity to back up the 3 & 4, even if Blair & Pickett go 30mpg (god help us).
There's lots of discussion about Beard's possibilities & all around game and D Harris's outside shooting help, but the odds are high - if Mac comes back & J Harris is OK - that our backcourt will be pretty full already. That 3/4 hole is pretty big, though, if you're not banking on Sibley to come through. I think he will.
Put it this way... If we had lost Williams and hadn't picked up Sibley yet... this board would be going APE about finding somebody to come in a play minutes for us at SF & PF.
Well -- we filled that role with a 4-star, top 100 kid. I think he's going to be the biggest surprise of all of our incoming guys -- he'll be even better than expected.

I think his injury is why the board has been so quiet. There was buzz when he was playing. Looking forward to seeing him play!

With so much playing time available, I expect Jamari and another frosh to be included in the BE All-frosh team at the end of the season.

Sibley will likely need a year or so to get adjusted to the college game, but I am very high on his overall potential. I think the Beard hype is at least in part because his skillset will likely be impactful from day one when he gets to college. Sibley does not currently have a true offensive skill to rely on for scoring in D1 high major basketball, and his current ranking is really based on the fact that he has the prototypical NBA build once he puts on some muscle. But his shooting form looks solid and can only become better with assistance from our skills staff. He will certainly get major minutes next season though since we do not currently have the bodies to do anything else.

I believe Beard will have the best chance to make the All-Freshman team even more so than Sibley. I'm excited about all the freshmen but I believe Beard is most ready.

Don’t be surprise if Kobe Clark make sound noise for GTown.

Yes, I like Kobe a lot.
Let’s not forget Dante who could be a very entertaining player and skilled shooter.

I am very excited about our incoming class. I understand with the state of the program and results to date why people are skeptical...but I really like the mix of skills this class has and feel we have an underrated group to some degree.
Feels like a hard working, want to prove people wrong type of class coming in...

It may take a couple of years for this group to develop their skills and mesh as a team, but I am optimistic that we have a bunch of hard working junkyard dogs that we will be proud of.

While you never know, I feel these guys are committed to this program, and to raising the program to a highly competitive level.
