Just want to say that I love what JWall adds to the program. Not sure he gets the recognition he deserves but he’s exceedingly bright, a great representative to the university, and really does it all from a asst coaching POV. He doesn’t demand the spotlight but the kid’s future is super bright.

The fact that we got him back on the Hilltop is just awesome - was a great player, clearly a big brain without being a brat and the kind of young leader who can help an older coach connect with the kids. Win win having him on board.

I have a lot of Marquette friends. Still love his 3 free throws that sent it into overtime with no time on the clock. He was amazing.

The kid had ice in his veins and fire in his belly. Great combination.

Never forget being there to see him hit the clutch 3 with time running out, coming back to tie from being double digits down, and launching us into ultimately a runaway win over UNC at the Meadowlands in 2007 to make the final four...man was that an enjoyable drive back to Maryland into the wee hours of the morning...Carolina fans were shell shocked into silence...

May be the biggest shot in Hoya history.

May be the biggest shot in Hoya history. Derrick Jackson may disagree.

I made the drive back with a Carolina fan!! I was considerably happier than him.

Absolutely love JWall and hope he stays and becomes our heir apparent. I'd guess it depends what kind of offense he's trying to run though. Does he want to fall back into JT3 scheme or follow Coach Ewing pace and space? Hard pass if it's the former (imho).

Gosh this board is funny. Thanks blueandgray for the appreciation thread. JWall is a great asset to this program. I hope he becomes a head coach some day, some where. I’m betting his years in Europe benefit our guys now. (Just living in the present). 🤷♀️

Congratulations Mr. Wallace. Well done. And thank you again for 4 great years of Hoya Hoops as our PG, and more as asst. coach. And, oh yeah... Happy Birthday!

Congratulations to a great (double) Hoya! What's next? On to GULC? IIRC, he was accepted years ago.
