Yeah, I really like both Q and Timmy, and while Q is better, would like to see a lot of both of them, as well as some of Malcolm, next year.

Definitely can be a two way force in the middle. Amazing his thread is only on page 9.

Definitely can be a two way force in the middle. Amazing his thread is only on page 9. He was definitely a bright spot last season: - At a 111.3 O rating, Wahab was the second most efficient offensive player on our team over the season (Mosely was slightly more efficient). - In conference play, Wahab was the most efficient player on our team at 112.5. - Part of it is his size/position, obviously, but Wahab had the second best defensive rebound rate (only Yurtseven was better). He's also a good offensive rebounder. - His block percentage, 7.2% was the best on the team (as long as you exclude Josh LeBlanc's small sample size). - On two point shots, he had the highest shooting percentage on the team, 58.3%. The only glaring thing was his foul rate, averaging 6.5 fouls per 40 minutes. That's high, but it's common for freshman bigs to foul a lot. That's got to come down in the coming season, though, as we need him on the floor was much as possible.

I surprisingly felt great last year about his chance of eventually scoring (either on the shot or the putback) if he got the ball on the low block. But as was frequently mentioned on the boards, it seemed almost automatic that he was going to shoot it if he got it there. Obviously a high success rate, but would love to see him add the ability to kick it out or find a cutter for an assist to his game. They'd have to hedge any help on him then and I think with another year of development with Pat he'll be awfully hard to stop from scoring if you don't commit hard to stop him.

That's legit my only gripe with his game (outside of actually taking the face up J that we know he can hit). Hoping that the game will slow down enough for him to have some solid court awareness. He was 100% shooting the ball when he got it dumped into the post on every single low block touch. If he can learn to kick then we'll have a lot of open looks from 3 as he'll require a double down when he gets the ball. Really looking forward to his battle with Oscar Tshiebwe in Nov

He was the best NBA prospect on our team this season by a good margin After LeBlanc left...and by the way, that’s a pretty damning statement about Ewing’s player development skills when we were all told Yurtseven was a first round pick when he transferred.

Actually, that's a pretty weak condemnation of PE's development skills when the player essentially missed the last half of his season, and was having a strong season until that point...Yurt exhibited a very strong skill set, but its difficult to "develop" athleticism...hopefully, he'll get a shot and have a productive pro career...

Yurt got hurt. I don't know how that's an indictment of anything. Same with Mac. I liked Mac and assumed he'd stay as he benefited more from the defections than anyone else. But, after watching him play, LeBlanc was the bigger loss on the floor. It's also not close. Mac isn't an NBA caliber player right now. There's little chance he ever will be. I wouldn't say the same of the LeBlanc.
With regard to Qudus, I'm excited to see what he's able to do. The guys that were forced into more minutes than they otherwise would have gotten acquitted themselves really well, IMO. For me, Q and Jahvon are at the top of that list.

He was the best NBA prospect on our team this season by a good margin So what is this a shot at Mac? Q was the best NBA prospect last year but not by a long way. Not over Yurt or Mac. Hell not even Morko...

I am on to some of you on this board. Don’t put too much pressure on the young man; he still has a lot to learn.

How he'll finish his career, we will just have to see. Isn't this the case with any guy that isn't a sure-fire first rounder? I thought Q exceeded expectations in more minutes than he, likely, would have gotten had things not gone more "according to plan." Having said that, his future is in his hands. But, he was a bright spot for me this year. I hope he continues on the path that he seems to be on.

We'll see how things unfold.

I really like Q's game and I think he will play a big role in how successful the team is this upcoming year. He needs to continue to develop, stay healthy and stay out of foul trouble. Physically I think he can compete with any other big man in the Big East, and most in the country, and he just needs to continue to develop his skill level on offense and expand his game. I think he has the most potential of anyone on the team to someday play in the NBA.

He was the best NBA prospect on our team this season by a good margin So what is this a shot at Mac? Q was the best NBA prospect last year but not by a long way. Not over Yurt or Mac. Hell not even Morko... He's no question a better NBA prospect than those three, but it wasn't a shot at any of the three. Just facts. Mac isn't an NBA prospect at all Yert might be able to sneak onto a roster because he can shoot. But he's much more likely an overseas guy because he can't defend at all and his best skill (back to the basket scoring) isn't something the league currently looks for Morko has NBA length, and could be an NBA defender, but has to become a 40 percent 3-point shooter in order to stick. He actually has a chance As far as what the league is looking for, Q right now definitively checks two NBA skill boxes that will give him a nice chance at sticking in the league
