Mutombo in the crowd at the Gonzaga FSU game with his son Ryan. Tongue and cheek told Reggie Miller only one school for him - GEORGETOWN.

So what's the difference between Gonzaga and us? Besides, Mark Few, I mean. I guess that's a larger topic, but they've moved to the Elite 8 now.

Some rock fights in the tourney tonight but it goes to show that very good defenses and some solid three point shooting can take you far.

Should foul Zion before he drives. UVA-Oregon game. Once again should have fouled early for 2 instead of fouling the 3pt shooter.

Their worst sin was the alley oop. All they had to do was take more tome off and get fouled. They didn’t; thus they lost.

Does anyone else think that the foul on the 3 point shooter at the end of the Tenn-Purdue game was a phantom? Considering how huge that was I'd want to see a lot more contact before calling it. Also, how tough ws that on the kid taking the foul shots. Hit all three and you win. Miss two and you lose. Especially after you miss the first. Real cojones to hit two to tie and I believe he also made a clutch bucket in OT to seal the win.

One more thing that the tourney highlights. Big men who are athletic and mobile. Deke's nephew was amazing. Without picking the Govan scab, it hurts to watch what these rim protectors bring to the game and appreciate how much we needed one last year.

I hate how refs manage 3pt fouls these days but that was absolutely a foul. Went straight up and down and dude followed through his lower body. If Carsen wanted to flop it was enough contact to throw him body off balance on a landing but he’s just really strong.

OT but 37 years ago today, Michael Jordan's shot and Fred Brown's errant pass . . .

OT but 37 years ago today, Michael Jordan's shot and Fred Brown's errant pass . . . The most galling thing of that evening remains Chris Brust traveling (no call) and then getting a free throw out of it.

I hate seeing Auburn play well, but I love seeing UNC lose. The dilemma.

Auburn unconscious from 3. They're on quite a run. Straight through the SEC tournament and all the way now to the Elite 8. Seeing their fans around town, it reminds me of when we beat UNC to go to the Final Four.

Zion pushed his leg at the end and probably altered the shot. Duke gets lucky again at the end.
