In other news, yesterday a septugenarian Socialist endorsed a demented septugenarian shut-in for President...
Good times...

With Trump claiming his authority is “total”, every single American, ESPECIALLY Republicans, should be incredibly alarmed. The GOP has traditionally been the “don’t tread on me” and states’ rights party. This directly confronts that ideology. But, as we know, the Republican ideology has been so corrupted by Trump and his followers that it barely resembles what it once was. Many people consider themselves “constitutional conservatives”. This should be appalling to those individuals, but somehow, they will continue to be Trump loyalists. I’m sure most people who are Trump constitutional conservatives (which may be as much of an oxymoron as has ever been conceived), given the general intelligence of the population, just like the way it sounds without actually understanding what it means. The vast majority couldn’t tell the difference between Marbury vs. Madison and Marbury vs. Iverson in the ‘95 preseason NIT.

I'm awaiting that assclown AG Barr to order OLC to issue an opinion supporting the moron-in-chief.

Imagine desperately needing cash and you have to wait because Trump wants to put his name on checks that are going on America's credit card.

As with everyone in this administration: garbage in, garbage out. I expect nothing more from these people than to think Covid-19 is the sequel to Covids 1-18.

This proves again that no one in this administration bothers to study up on anything because it's easier to lie and make things up, it's absolutely shameful...

Who's surprised that less than a month in the grift has been confronted? Btw the small business fund is reportedly wiped out already with most of it going to well-heeled "small businesses" who had established relationships with banks. Meanwhile, the truly small businesses got little to nothing... www.politico.com/news/2020/04/16/trump-indian-affiars-funds-191622Assistant Secretary for Indian Affairs Tara Sweeney is among a small group of Interior officials advising the Treasury Department on how to distribute $8 billion in rescue funding Congress earmarked for Native American tribes — an allocation that some lawmakers now say they intended solely for the 574 federally recognized tribes hit hard by the economic shutdown. But the Trump administration indicated this week that it also plans to include more than 200 for-profit Alaska Native corporations among the eligible recipients based on a strict reading of language Congress included in its $2.2 trillion coronavirus rescue package — including corporations that rank among the largest businesses in the state. That’s outraged many tribal leaders who say the decision could divert nearly half the funding away from tribes and into the coffers of the corporations.

Matthew Yglesias: That was all back in the day when people wrote individual news stories about individual coronavirus cases, instead of today doing a single roundup story tallying how many people died.
