Whatever your political affiliation, if you should be terrified and disgusted by the fact that the health of you, everyone you love, and everyone in this country has been placed in the hands of Jared Kushner.
VF: After Cuomo said New York was short 30k ventilators. In a WH meeting...Kushner told people Cuomo was being an alarmist. “I’m doing my own projections...New York doesn’t need all the ventilators” Kushner said,"
People who’d dealt with Kushner say that whatever he took over an issue he “believed he could do it better than anybody else, and he had supreme confidence in his own abilities and his own judgment even when he didn’t know what he was talking about.”
FEMA has received surprise directives from the White House — including to dispatch deliveries of medical equipment to states that had not even submitted formal requests based on which governor got Trump on the telephone.

"our stockpile." I mean: Our is the citizens of the United States, right??? Not the governor. Not the hospitals. Friends. Spoken without a hint of irony It’s called the Strategic “National” Stockpile ... Is this an example of "leading from behind?" I'm so glad we have the guy whose qualifications are having sex with the boss's daughter on the case. Great job everyone who voted for this. The web page for the Strategic National Stockpile has now been changed to reflect Jared Kushner’s nonsensical interpretation. Instead of complying with the way things are meant to be and acknowledging them, just alter the truth. Great stuff.

He was born to the right parents, married well, and learned how to influence his father-in-law. Most of his other endeavors -- his biggest real estate deal, his foray into newspaper ownership, his attempt to broker a peace deal between the Israelis and Palestinians -- have been failures." -Goldberg, NYT.

If only he had NOT followed the law, he would still be employed. Lesson learned. It's always nice to be reminded that not only is Trump incompetent, he's also flagrantly corrupt.

It took 70 days from initial notification for Trump to treat the coronavirus not as a distant threat or harmless flu strain, but as a lethal force poised to kill tens of thousands.
That period now stands as critical time that was squandered.
The U.S. will likely go down as the nation that was supposedly best prepared to fight a pandemic but ended up catastrophically overmatched by the novel coronavirus, sustaining heavier casualties than any other nation.
The Post retraced the failures over those first 70 days of the coronavirus crisis, based on 47 interviews with administration officials, public health experts, intelligence officers and others involved in fighting the pandemic.

So I have written, as I did on March 12, that Trump is the worst president in modern times — not of all time. That left open the possibility that James Buchanan, Andrew Johnson, Franklin Pierce, Warren Harding or some other nonentity would be judged more harshly. But in the past month, we have seen enough to take away the qualifier “in modern times.” With his catastrophic mishandling of the coronavirus, Trump has established himself as the worst president in U.S. history. www.washingtonpost.com/opinions/2020/04/05/worst-president-ever/

Seemingly a federation or union of states. A "Federal government," if you will...

HHS Inspector General report confirms widely reported hospital shortages and confusing guidance. Assistant IG goes on the record to say she was “taken aback” by the “unprecedented” findings. HHS IG found hospitals face dire shortages of vital medical equipment — including testing kits and thermometers — and fear they can't ensure the safety of health care workers needed to treat patients. IG report was based on 300+ interviews w healthcare officials Report: oig.hhs.gov/oei/reports/oeHe discounts the report out of hand and asks, threateningly, for the name of the IG (he just fired an IG he didn't like on Friday) Then tells her: "You should say congratulations, great job instead of being so horrid in the way you ask a question. It's clear that however many deaths this virus causes this administrations response has cost thousands of lives.
The virus isn't Trumps fault. The lack of planning, preparation, testing, PPE, and incompetent response is.

This is the type of anti-Semite that the Trump Regime chooses to recognize. But it’s painful for some to put the responsibility where it belongs. Christian broadcaster Rick Wiles, therefore, took a different tack. He blamed the Jews. “God is spreading it in your synagogues! You’re under judgment because you oppose his son, the Lord Jesus Christ,” he proclaimed on his TruNews platform. This is the same Rick Wiles who in November called Trump’s impeachment a “Jew coup.” And this is the same Rick Wiles whose TruNews outlet was granted press credentials by the Trump administration to cover the World Economic Forum in January; Wiles stayed in a room booked by the administration. www.washingtonpost.com/opinions/2020/04/06/trump-blew-it-not-who-fauci-or-jews/"I alone can fix it." - July 21, 2016 "I don't take responsibility at all." - March 13, 2020

Yep, that's Trump and his fine people.
