I wish the elections could be tomorrow. OTOH, the more the sociopath talks or tweets, the worse his poll numbers become!

Probably the best thing Trump has done since becoming President.
More of this, please.
BTW Trump still hasn’t expressed any anger at Putin for paying to have American soldiers killed and neither have Republican members of congress for the most part.

This bigoted individual ran around asking to see Obama's transcripts. He's such a fraud.

Where are all the so-called "pro-life" Republicans? The "silence is deafening." No doubt the start up of federal executions is part of the Trump/Barr re-election strategy. In a Tuesday statement, more than 1,000 diverse religious leaders called upon President Donald Trump and United States Attorney General William P. Barr to “focus[ ] on protecting and preserving life,” not executing people. lawandcrime.com/department-of-justice/1000-plus-religious-leaders-ask-attorney-general-barr-to-focus-on-life-not-federal-executions/The new evangelization calls for followers of Christ who are unconditionally pro-life: who will proclaim, celebrate and serve the Gospel of life in every situation. A sign of hope is the increasing recognition that the dignity of human life must never be taken away, even in the case of someone who has done great evil. . . . I renew the appeal I made . . . for a consensus to end the death penalty, which is both cruel and unnecessary. —Pope John Paul II Papal Mass, St. Louis, Missouri, January 27, 1999 www.usccb.org/issues-and-action/human-life-and-dignity/death-penalty-capital-punishment/catholic-campaign-to-end-the-use-of-the-death-penalty.cfmROME — Pope Francis has changed Catholic Church teaching to fully reject the death penalty, the Vatican announced Thursday, saying it would work to abolish capital punishment worldwide. The revision to several sentences of the catechism, the compendium of Catholic beliefs, has the potential to recast debates around the world on how to handle those accused of the most heinous crimes. It adds a new wrinkle to the question of what it means to be pro-life — particularly in the United States, where Catholics who support the death penalty sit on the Supreme Court and govern states that permit executions. The church’s updated teaching describes capital punishment as “inadmissible” and an attack on the “dignity of the person.” Previously, the church allowed for the death penalty in very rare cases, only as a means of “defending human lives against the unjust aggressor.” www.washingtonpost.com/world/pope-francis-changes-catholic-church-teaching-to-say-death-penalty-is-inadmissible/2018/08/02/0d69ef5e-9647-11e8-80e1-00e80e1fdf43_story.html

As the Alexander Hamilton quote goes, “Those who stand for nothing fall for anything”. And they certainly have. Trump cultists: "White Lives Matter" and "Make America White Again." That's what the cultists truly believe. Journalists should not construct tortured sentences to make racism appear as an unfortunate and perhaps accidental byproduct of his rhetoric. Try diagramming this sentence from the Times: “Mr. Trump has sought to stoke white fear and resentment, portraying himself as a protector of an old order that polls show much of America believes perpetuates entrenched racism and wants to move beyond.” That verges on self-parody. “Trump fans racism.” Period. www.washingtonpost.com/opinions/2020/07/07/time-racial-euphanisms-is-over/

Individual -1 should be sweating bullets after today's Supreme Court ruling. CJ Roberts clearly on Trump's sh*t list but what about Gorsuch and Kavanaugh??? They are clearly not loyal enough. The Supreme Court on Thursday rejected President Trump’s assertion that he enjoys absolute immunity while in office, allowing a New York prosecutor to pursue a subpoena of the president’s private and business financial records. “In our judicial system, ‘the public has a right to every man’s evidence,’” Chief Justice John G. Roberts Jr. wrote in the New York case, citing an ancient maxim. “Since the earliest days of the Republic, ‘every man’ has included the President of the United States.” www.washingtonpost.com/politics/courts_law/supreme-court-trump-tax-returns-financial-records/2020/07/09/8f274352-c1e2-11ea-9fdd-b7ac6b051dc8_story.html

I guess Kavanaugh and Gorsuch are not the hideous bag men they were portrayed to be.

Meanwhile, Michael Cohen back into federal custody for allegedly violating the terms of his home confinement and has been taken to the MCC. For you conspiracy theorists, is it Barr being pro-active after the Manhattan DA's win in seeking Trump's financial documents for the grand jury investigation into Trump and the Trump Organization? The MCC is not a good place to be for those who may have information that implicates the wealthy and powerful. See e.g., Epstein, Jeffrey.

If Trump is left with nothing but his cultists, he loses. Here's hoping. This election is looking more like a Democratic tsunami than simply a Blue wave. President Trump, mired in some of the lowest job approval ratings of his presidency, is trailing Biden by significant margins in key battleground states like Pennsylvania (8 points), Michigan (9 points), and Wisconsin (9 points). He’s even running behind Biden in his firewall states of Florida and North Carolina. Republican strategists we’ve spoken with this week think Trump is close to the point of no return. A couple of others wondered if Trump had reached his “Katrina” moment: a permanent loss of trust and faith of the majority of voters. cookpolitical.com/analysis/national/national-politics/new-july-2020-electoral-college-ratings

I guess Kavanaugh and Gorsuch are not the hideous bag men they were portrayed to be. This is baloney. Who portrayed Gorsuch as a hideous bag man? He breezed through. As for Kavanaugh, I don't recall hearing many people question his qualifications as a jurist. The problem was he was neither honest nor trustworthy. I, for one, said from early on that Trump should have withdrawn Kavanaugh's nomination and replaced him with another conservative jurist. There are plenty around to choose from.

"I can handle things! I'm smart! Not like everybody says! Like, dumb. I'm smart, and I want respect!" - Fredo Corleone (Hint: If you have to loudly proclaim how smart you are, you aren't). Don "Fredo" Trump. “I actually took one very recently when, you know, the radical left was saying, ‘Is he all there? Is he all there?’ I proved I was all there, because I aced it,” Trump told Hannity. “I aced the test. … He should take the same exact test, a very standard test. I took it at Walter Reed Medical Center in front of doctors and they were very surprised. They said, ‘That’s an unbelievable thing. Rarely does anyone do what you just did.’ ” www.washingtonpost.com/nation/2020/07/10/trump-hannity-cognitive-test/And the racist sociopath cancels New Hampshire rally, claiming the weather as the reason. Did he get out his Sharpie again?? What a cowardly loser.
