Does anyone know the level of donation required for eligibility for buying away game tickets from GU? Are there different levels for better seats? I tried calling the phone number on the Athletics Department website, but no one answered and there was no way to leave a message. I believe $50 is the minimum based on previous communications and this website: wearegeorgetown.com/tickets/mens-basketball/#path-donor-away-benefits

Any super plans for young alums living in the DC area who love BB but resources are tight? 1) last year a student offered to buy cheaper tix in the student section if anyone needed 2) last year there was a "day of" plan where for $15 they would give you a seat somewhere on the lower level -all done via a cell phone app

Additionally, people will sometimes post here, on Casual Hoya, or on Twitter when they have extra tickets they can’t use, but that’s usually day of.

As an AU alum, I appreciate you all not dumping on us as many Power 5 schools do when we're on their OOC schedule. Look forward to the game in December.

Miller is a legitimate NBA athlete and elite defender. If he improves on offense sufficiently he ought to play in the NBA. Good challenge for the Hoyas.

Mr. Miller ...meet Mr. Gardner. Not sure he's ready for that, but Allen is. Btw, that video has him dunking a lot with players getting out of the way. It's like he's playing GU of the Govan years. That changes this upcoming season.

I think we can slow down Miller and prevent him from scoring a bunch; the bigger question is can he shut down Akinjo and/or Mac...

Just looked at Duke's schedule and saw that they play Central Ark. on Nov. 12 and Georgia State on Nov. 15. We play Central Ark. on Nov. 9th and Georgia St on Nov. 17th. Cal and Texas will not play Central Ark and G.St. It will be interesting to see how GU and Duke handle common opponents.

Should really help our RPI, from just that we'll get 3x the bonus for playing Duke this year (opponent and opponent of opponent x2)

Really sad.

At Georgetown on Dec. 28 To close the non-conference slate, AU will travel to Capital One Arena to take on its only power conference opponent of the season: the mighty Georgetown Hoyas. AU has a successful history against its crosstown rival; the Eagles’ 1982-83 squad knocked off Patrick Ewing, David Wingate and the fifth-ranked Georgetown team, a defeat that prompted Hoyas head coach John Thompson Jr. to keep AU off its schedule for 24 years. In this year’s matchup, Georgetown will again come in as the heavy favorite. Despite graduating Jessie Govan, Greg Malinowski and Trey Mourning, the Hoyas have an abundance of talent. Georgetown’s dynamic guard duo of James Akinjo and Mac McClung caused problems for Big East defenders all last season, and both players will be returning to the District for their sophomore seasons. Additionally, 7-foot center Omer Yurtseven will become eligible for the Hoyas after transferring from NC State, where the former Fenerbahçe star averaged 13.5 points and 6.7 rebounds per game. Eagles fans should keep an eye on AU guards Sa’eed Nelson and Jamir Harris as they go up against Akinjo and McClung. www.theeagleonline.com/article/2019/09/mens-baskeballs-non-conference-schedule-preview

A tip-off at 9:30 ET/8:30 CT is fairly late for an SMU game. Maybe they're hoping the Mustangs (4-0) can find their way into the AAC title game earlier that day...maybe even at Ford Stadium, not 40 yards from Moody Coliseum's front door. SMU has a great QB in Texas transfer Shane Buechele out of Arlington Lamar HS.
