Damion Baugh 6’4 185 PG – Tennessee Prep 2019 Baugh has quick hands and feet, he’s hard to press as a ballhandler as he likes to push the ball. He’s an aggressive athlete, looking to throw down jams whenever he gets into the lane. He creates well in the half court and reacts well to the defense. He sees the floor well but seems more comfortable driving to his right where he finished more on drives and looked to make a cross court pass with his dominant hand. He can get out of control as he went full speed at times when he could slow it down but Baugh’s an exciting player to watch and looked better than most have him ranked. His outside stroke looks good and he can shoot off the dribble as well. Baugh ended with 20 points, eight rebounds, four assists, and three steals to beat Aspire Academy. www.nbadraft.net/2018-marshall-county-hoop-fest

I'm curious, in August he gave a final 10, G'town was NOT included. Why are we continuing to pay attention to his recruitment?

Not sure how connected to Baugh this person/site is, but that if this information is accurate that is not a good sign for the Hoyas. Unless they have both, Georgetown and Baugh, decided to move on it seems hard to image how he went from taking an official visit to campus and listing Georgetown as in some previous posts to the Hoyas now being outside his top 10. I also did not see Memphis listed, which I had thought was one of the biggest competitors for Damion.

I hope the Hoya staff has its nets out wide scouting wing men. I am happy with the big men we have in place and definitely hope that we can get a commitment from Wahab. My big concern is attracting competent wing men shooting guards and small forwards that can shoot, pass, handle the ball, and play aggressive defense and are equally highly athletic. There are so many excellent basketball programs and players in the country and all over the world. I refuse to believe that we can't attract 3 of these players to an excellent school like Georgetown. There are Georgetown alumni all over the world that can send recommendations to the program.
I think I'm right when I say Jonathan Wallace, Otto Porter, and some others that fared well at GU were certainly are not "starred" athletes. I hope we are after some of those type guys too throughout the nation and the world that can send the players we need to move the program further along and not be dependent on basketball players with 3+ stars. They have done a great job so far at other positions. Go Hoyas!!

Want this kid more than anybody right now tbh... Justin Simon jr... You want Damion Baugh more than anyone, and he has a game like Justin Simon,Jr.? Yes? If we can get him or someone as good as he that would be great. This recruitment process is very consuming and draining. There are so many more options z6vailble to these kids and high investments required (time, etc.) to gain their attention.

He can play 1-3 and with the proper instruction he could be the lockdown defender on the perimeter this team needs. There might be kids we're on that are more talented, but none who fit better with what we need imo.

How is his perimeter game..his outside shooting? What you described is what we need going forward. We could use two of him....LOL!
