First one, second one, third one, Oklahoma State when we were up 20 I'd rather have seen Wahab get those minutes or one of the other newcomers... It has to be stated again that an RS tag can be removed at any time throughout the year so your reasonings in previous posts do not make sense...

I'd rather see Wahab play some at the 4, with Malcolm/Tim at backup center... (Wahab could get mns at both if necessary)... I agree with you. I am not a coach, but could appreciate Yurtseven and Wahab rotating at 4/5 since both appear to have a jump shot and Wilson and Tim fortifying the five.

Redshirting is a bizarre and idiotic practice with no benefit to the team whatsoever and we should never have tried it but we did because the program is run by a bunch of dinoasaurs. Excited to see Malcolm play! Indeed it works horribly for Virginia, Villanova, and Gonzaga. It has ruined their programs in recent years. Oh... wait

Damn he's a rail. He moves well and has some moves but damn I hope he's in the weight room daily and eating only eggs.

Terry Dozier was a player. Twin brother Perry, too. Cousins of Reggie Lewis.

With how aggressively the crew coaches recruited us stick thin guys during orientation, I'm surprised we didnt see him in a boat this fall. They'd have to take out half the other spots so he could fit though. 🤣😉

Has anyone heard what’s up with Wilson? I’m assuming he’s sick or injured, but he wasn’t on the bench for the St Johns or Seton Hall games.

I hope there's a reasonable explanation because it's going to be impossible to stand behind Ewing if he loses 5 players in a single season

Feel for him. Zero minutes and has two kids in his class who play his position ahead of him in the rotation.

No inside info here, but being sick would definitely explain it. Already had flu issues with the team earlier in the season, don't want to risk it spreading again

I believe he will have his time. He needs weight, muscle and better physical coordination in my opinion.

Gotta be sick. Thought the same thing. I did not notice he was not on the bench last night, but I was not looking for him either. I would believe the staff is committed to redshirting him, and that he is Ok with that decision. It seems like he was always a project and the hope is he could develop into a big time rim protector for the next few years. He had some impressive shot blocking stats in high school. Hopefully he can become the type of player Gill has grown into for Seton Hall. I remember Gill playing briefly last year and he was very unimpressive and now he has grown into a player that impacts the game in a big way for his team.

Been meaning to point out that the redshirt, used properly, does not mean you are “not ready to contribute.” Sometimes it just means that you and coach agree a year of development will serve you better than limited PT and, when that year is over, you will enter the game as a stronger, faster contributor right away instead of playing like a project. I have faith Wilson will hit the hardwood ready to help in meaningful ways next year.
