Patrick should of never ruined Ighoefe ability to redshirt, if he did not plan on using him. I think George plays hard, but he is too slow, time to give Ighoefe a shot in those minutes. Love to hear your thoughts? I have to guess Ewing sees him as strictly a 5 because if not if he cant earn time over George then he is a serious project at this point...

Maybe he has a reason for a waiver that we don't know about or maybe his year of eligibility has been used! Perhaps unfortunately.

Love to hear your thoughts? Coach had mentioned his intent/need to use Tim later on down the stretch on the season. I am sure they are working on things in practice. I think we'll see Tim again.

Sure felt like there were minutes there for the big guy last night. Though Tim I is strongest on D and Gil is no big offensive threat, seemed like rotating bodies through the paint could have helped. Is Tim ready to clear the lane for cutters, shutting out shot blocker? Is he boxing out well enough that we won’t get eaten alive on the O boards? Could he have put some kind of a move on offense - Omer apparently is allergic to fakes and up and unders - that might have started some foul issues? I trust the staff and believe they know what they are doing, but between SHU’s twin loads of Obiagu and Gil, I thought there was Tim Time in this one.

Could have been but I trust the coach. By now, many ought to know he knows more than them/us about the capabilities of his team and its personnel!

A couple of HUGE put-backs against Butler. Working his butt off for rebounds and he looks really mobile. Well done, sir!

I watched the 2nd half of the Butler game three times now. Timothy was absolutely tremendous. He does need to remember to box out...let McDermott go right around him for an easy putback....otherwise he was very impressive.

He does move pretty fluidly for a guy his size; I think he played soccer growing up (if I’m not mistaken). He doesn’t look lost out there when his number is called; look forward to watching his skillset develop.

He will be a force next season and a help the rest of this season.

I really like the future 1-2 punch of Q-Dub and Tim-Iggy. If Omer comes back, I don't think Iggy will get much run the remainder of this year. But these unexpected minutes and contributions for both players are invaluable from a developmental and confidence-building standpoint. I bet Ewing is really pumped to spend time developing these two players. You can't beat their measurables (height, length, reach, etc.), athleticism, and they both show some fierce tenacity around the rim.
Even if this year ends in a disappointing finish, I think we can all point to Q and TI as reasons to be excited for the Hoya future.

TI is a solid rebounder and defender under the basket. He needs to work on his lateral defense, so his man doesn’t beat him to the basket.

If Tim can play like he did last game even when Yurt comes back, it will allow our bigs to be more aggressive on defense...which can only be a good thing.

I love watching this young man play and am optimistic that the future holds a lot of good things for him. He was *** HUGE *** on Saturday.
