Trump will definitely ignore this court order. What happens next? First, an appeal to the Third Circuit before 1 pm, the deadline for turning the returns over. Trump will seek an injunction. If he doesn't get one, we're looking at contempt of court at the state level. And his lawyers, who signed a consent order regarding turnover of the tax returns, could be facing ethics complaints for non-compliance with that consent order. It's dicier for Trump in state court than in federal court, because he can't count on Bill Barr to ignore a court system in which he is powerless.

They swear up & down that the President has done nothing wrong but they still refuse to answer easy questions, I wonder why?

They swear up & down that the President has done nothing wrong but they still refuse to answer easy questions, I wonder why? It's even worse than that. Not only did he not answer the question, he didn't even concede that what happened, on film, happened. Instead, he lied and said that "most" people agreed with his lie. And then he had the gall to blame the media for misleading people. These people have to go. It's far more than just the politics and the policies. They're awful people with no integrity that aren't fit to represent anyone.

The incredible thing about Jim Jordan is that his lying and covering for trump is not even close to the worst thing he has done.

What percentage of official WH and government business is being done on encrypted messaging apps?
80-90%? It's already been confirmed that this was Jared's method of communicating with MBS.. In the mueller report it said that was part of the reason he couldn't collect all the evidence in his investigation because much of the communication between people of interest was through encrypted apps....
Anybody who was outraged at a certain ladies email practice care to explain why this is ok?

Trump is just not going to cooperate with the impeachment process. And, we have our first constitutional crisis of his presidency.

The Republicans won't raise a stink here for the same reason that they haven't raised a stink about myriad other things that Trump has done that fly in the face of Republican dogma. Because Republican dogma only applies when it's used to criticize the other party.

I suspect that there was more than a hint of sarcasm in that tweet.

Our President folks... www.vox.com/policy-and-politics/2019/10/8/20904391/trump-military-ammunition-lie-explainedIn sum, Trump started with an exaggerated story that was already absurd, but then gradually inflated it even more until the final product become one of his most outlandish lies. In this case, the subject matter is relatively trivial — nobody really believes the military was out of ammunition when he took office — but the chain of events illustrates how broken Trump’s truth barometer is, and serves as a disturbing reminder about how little the president’s word can be trusted on more important matters.

"The day Richard Nixon failed to answer that subpoena is the day he was subject to impeachment because he took the power from Congress over the impeachment process away from Congress, and he became the judge and jury,”

For all the critics of its broadcasts, Fox's polling team is well regarded in the industry and is a solid barometer, which is why DJT is so angry.
Back in 2012, Fox called the presidential race for Obama in Ohio and Karl Rove said they were flat-out wrong, Megyn Kelly took him to task by walking back to the poll office on the air to confirm it.

Can you imagine the outrage if Eric Holder would have met with the President of MSNBC at his house... I mean... My guess is because AG Barr is a shameless hack who acts more like Donald Trump's personal attorney than the Attorney General of the United States. .I think the fact that he's traveling the globe on the tax payers dime hunting down a Donald Trump conspiracy theory, that started on 4chan, is proof of that... He appears to spend most of his time twisting the law to write dubious opinions justifying Trump's positions, and none on policymaking. Unrelated... She Smith is out at Fox
