The victim card is always near the top of the deck. Like father, like daughter.
It’s started with “lock her up” and ended with Trump mulling preemptive pardons for him and his family because they are the most corrupt and lawless administration in recent memory.

Is Kinzinger trying to become the face of a new Republican Party? Does he even stand a chance with the Trump cultists as the GOP base? Rep. Adam Kinzinger arrived in Washington a decade ago as a star of the tea party revolution, a young Air Force pilot who campaigned as an outsider ready to shake up the Republican Party. Now he is an outsider once more — one of only a handful of GOP lawmakers willing to openly criticize President Trump and his grip on the party, even in the final weeks of his presidency. www.washingtonpost.com/powerpost/trump-republicans-kinzinger-house/2020/12/05/753808a6-365d-11eb-b59c-adb7153d10c2_story.html

elvado maybe what you call the "sore loser generation" is just further evidence of evolution? As the sociopath whined in Georgia, "We're the victims." The sociopath and his cultists are the biggest snowflakes as they perceive their collective White privilege slipping through their grubby, lazy hands. F all of 'em.

I was born in a family of Republicans. Both parents and all 3 sisters supported Trump a month ago. I was overtly political for a teen and young man. I worked for the RNC at the 96 convention in San Diego. I voted for Dole, W, mcCain and Romney.
In 2016 for the first time i voted for a Democrat i did not much care for but was a thousand times preferable to the mentally unstable, narcissistic, thin skinned, dumb as rocks game show host. It was an easy choice, especially after some mouth breathing Trump supporter stole my wife’s Hillary sign and threw a brick through the window under my daughter’s room. This was a month after another Trump backer ruined my Sunday football watch at my local bar by asking me how we were going to get this “monkey” out of the white house...meaning Obama of course.
Unlike other Lincoln project/Bulwark types i do not forgive the supplicants in the rest of the party. I can never go back unless there is a thorough purge. The appalling display of cowardice by the party adults in the house and Senate must never be forgotten. They are to blame for the lame ass failed coup. A disgusting stain on our once great country.

For what’s worth the first crack was McCain. Held my nose a bit on that all because of the atrociously cynical Palin choice. She broke the proud moron glass ceiling so the current criminal in chief could appeal to the worst angels of the GOP.

At this point we probably should change the mascot from the elephant to the most bigly beautiful snowflake the likes the world has ever seen.
Btw I don’t know who needs to hear this but handing out participation trophies seems like a better idea than letting a 70+ year old run around trying to invalidate votes and undermining democracy because you’re to soft to tell him he lost. Just sayin...

Or maybe he gets to undermine democracy and a huge participation trophy? *New standard.
Amazing how there’s always a grift. It’s almost like he sees the Republican Party as a big fat mark.

Thanks for sharing, thebin. Anecdotes like this give me hope. I do hope that such a purge occurs, as America is better with two viable political parties.

Just sayin... Isn’t this the group who always wants to castigate minorities for having a “victim mentality”? There is no one as thin-skinned as Trump supporters. They think they are the victims of a worldwide conspiracy to get Trump, and through Trump to get them, by rigging the election. This is what happens when you are too fragile to have an identity of your own. These people’s entire identity is “Trump supporter”. They are scared. If that’s taken away, they’ve got nothing else. I would feel bad for them if, by and large, they weren’t also terrible, terrible people.

Freedom loving small government Republicans strike again.
This is the Florida health official who was fired after refusing to fudge the covid numbers to Ron DeSantis satisfaction. She's been posting real numbers on her own ever since. Today DeSantis apparently ordered a raid on her home.
