While he is under no obligation to disclose, body fat % and lbs of lean muscle mass would be a better metric than weight gain.

I don't care what he weighs or what his pct of body fat is. We need him!

Ewing was listed at 240 lbs when he played at Georgetown. Ryan must be stronger than he looks at 235. I think it is a great sign that Ryan is taking his strength and conditioning seriously and working on improving his physicality. The truth is that for most high school kids the jump to D-1 college is difficult physically. They go from playing against boys in high school to playing against highly trained men and almost all of the kids need to add strength that freshman year.

Talk about totally outclassed and undersized competition. Pretty sure that was my son's CYO team he was playing against.

I am dying to see Ryan starting at the 4 alongside a junior year Wahab and a sophomore Sibley. That would will be a front line to be reckoned with.

Why do we think this kid is a PF?

Why do we think this kid is a PF? Love it. Sounds like he is a legit 5. I think that people think of him as more of a 4 because when he started being recruited he was maybe 6'9", but if he really has grown into 6'11", he is a center. Even more reason why he sounds like Georgetown is the perfect fit. Come learn from Uncle Pat every single day.

Wishful thinking perhaps at this point.

Kid Definitely a 5. Hell he is damn near 7 ft from what I have been reading. he moves like a 5. he can’t handle the ball on the perimeter nor does he shoot from the outside like that consistently. Would have a hell of a time trying to guard power forwards on the perimeter like it is play nowadays.
That’s why I say if we get Mutombo next year where does that put Wilson. he would be basically the fourth center on the roster. the minutes just would not be there for him going forward...

There is a good chance he doesn’t end up at Georgetown....just brace yourselves.

I can say without hesitation that in the more than thirty years of following Hoya basketball, there has not been another recruit who I felt was more of a "must have" than this young man for myriad reasons.
