Very interesting player. In an interview he mentioned sometimes guarding guards on the adidas circuit. If his foot speed is that good I would like to see some defensive creativity. Big John used many defenses & despite the trend toward positionless basketball getting your shot tossed & defending the rim can mess up an opposing offense. Malcolm could be a menacing front man on the press. Looking forward to seeing him play.

I'm glad his excellent offcourt achievements are allowing people to at least remember him and consider the possibility that he might have some true potential. Because a few weeks ago people were ready to write him off in order to make room and playing time for Dikembe's kid.

With his wingspan, foot speed & shot blocking ability Malcolm could be part of a disruptive zone on defense. Fronting the press would be nice too. A 2-3 zone with Blair and the PG up top with Wahab, Wilson and Pickett on the back line?
No Kenner has made Malcolm a man of mystery. I believe He can run the floor very well. If Malcolm can finish on the break with authority he is going to be a PLAYER.
The Georgia Tech John Salley career progression would be a nice model for Wilson IMO.

Upon further review John Salley was putting up double figures in all four years at GT. That may be a little ambitious. But in terms of being an angular, quick, shot-blocking post presence...
