Did anyone say exactly what the nature of the injury is?... Everyone seems to think it is plantar fascitis and no one has thus far contradicted it. I can't recall who first identified the injury as such.

I thought I heard that from Ewing Ewing has never identified Mac's injury Has he never or have you never heard him to identify the injury? Just wondering if we are in the presence of some omniscient fan.

Sore would make more sense since it’s a foot injury but who knows.

I think everyone involved had to think Mac would be rusty and it's difficult to play his style of game when hampered with a foot injury. But I give Mac a ton of credit for trying to tough it out when his team desperately needs him even if it was just to get a guard a breather. Hopefully we see him back close to 100% percent this year.

While I respect McClung and give him credit for trying, if he came back prematurely, and now is out even longer, that's not helping out the team. Of course, it could be that he felt fine and tweaked something during the game (which seems to be what Ewing said). With injuries, it's hard to know oftentimes when it's time to come back.

He started limping after he stepped on a defender's foot. Hopefully it was a minor tweak.

You could see the look on his face, you know how badly he wants to be out there. I'll be rooting for you, Mac. Feel better man. Don't rush the healing process.

My only question. Why in a boot now and not before?
