Not surprising, but disappointing- both that he will not be back, and that Patrick provided any update prior to coming out for warmups...

Clearly the blame should land on Esh and JT III...

Clearly the blame should land on Esh and JT III... And if not them, definitely Akinjo.

Sounds like there is a decent shot to have him back for DePaul on the weekend.

He will play tomorrow, IMHO. No inside info, just Mac’s fire. I am a big fan, but SH or DePaul might be a good time for Mac to do the sixth man thing.

This thread has taken a huge spiral downhill. Maybe it's vertigo. Kim Novak is responsible.

This seems to imply the MRI found no structural damage. If I am correct, this sounds like good news.

Unfortunately a foot injury for a player like Mac who's always in attack mode and relies on his athleticism might be tricky. Coach did say he was hoping he'd be back for Depaul though

Completely agree, whenever he comes back, he is better suited coming off the bench. Blair has earned the starting spot at shooting guard. Mac would be a great spark off the bench for 12-15 minutes per game, but is simply too inefficient to be out there for starter caliber minutes.
