Update on the Millrose Games this Saturday, Feb. 9. If anybody wants to go to see the races at the Armory:
Amos Bartelsmeyer will run the Allan Steinfeld Men's Mile at 3:11 pm EST. Amos must be one of the favorites in this mile.
Joe White will run the Mel Sheppard Men's 800m at 4:31 pm EST. It is a stacked field and Joe is the only collegian in the race, so great experience for Joe.

A blast from the past. Franlyn Sanchez came to Georgetown having run an 8:49 two mile in HS. As a freshman at GU he was sixth in the NCAA XC meet and set the US junior 5000m run. His 8:49 race was against Andy Powell, now track coach at Univ of Washington and who now coaches Amos Bartelsmeyer. www.dyestat.com/gprofile.php?mgroup_id=44531&do=news&news_id=562271
