I really hope that Kaleb gets healthy and can find a way to see 10-20 minutes a game. I love his defense and athletic ability.
I hope Kaleb finds a way to work himself into the rotation and see some more minutes in his senior year. He has been a great representative of the university in his time on the team and I hope things work our well for him. Being injured early has clearly not helped his cause but hopefully he has the opportunity to help the team as the season wears on.
I really hoping Kaleb would contribute this year. What happened?
The vast majority of the minutes Kaleb received at the 3/4 last year have been taken this year by Pickett, Malinowski, and LeBlanc.
Pickett played a lot of 2 last season with Kaleb, Marcus, and Jessie at the 3-4-5. This year, Pickett has shifted over to the 3 with our 2 freshman guards, with Trey and Jessie at the 4-5. Malinowski and Leblanc have earned significant minutes at the 3-4 while Jagan and Jhavon have earned the bench minutes at the 1-2.
Kaleb is the odd man out. Mainly because he can't shoot reliably, although he does some nice things around the hoop.
Btw, Grayson Carter sighting on Saturday!!!
Hard to read about Carter and Kaleb and not think of the '15 game against Duke at MSG when Carter torched us. Fourteen for Kaleb on four of six (2 threes), showing some real promise in 22 minutes. But also 21 and six for Mr. Copeland. What might have been.
Kaleb is a great hard working young man. Hopefully hell contribute this season. TOUGH d goes to the hoop nose for the ball. He had solved his foul shooting with hard work. think its mental now wish him well . Wish hed been on that shooter from cuse that hit the shot to win the game just saying TOUGH. and NICE.
go hoyas eat up and feast on the big east but win one by one by AT LEAST one and have some fun!!
I really want to comment here but I can't because I really, really like Kaleb and, while what I'd have to say is positive in my mind, I have a feeling that I wouldn't state it properly and it would come out sounding negative. The version with no analysis is that I would like so much for him to succeed and have a great end to his college career. I've never met him but I'd love to some day. He strikes me as the kind of person we want to decide to come to Georgetown, ballplayer or otherwise. I'm going to be sad to see him go.

I think I know what you mean. I feel really bad for Kaleb for a lot of reasons. I know he has been given the keys to the car and things haven't gone the way he would like. Having a little brother who is the high school player of the year (f or the state) and is a lottery pick if he decides to come out, cannot be easy.
I know we have the Freshmen and Pickett, but was really hoping he would come out of nowhere and be the surprise of the season, I know it is never too late. Come on Kaleb! To go from a full time starter to registering DNP CD, cannot be easy. To his credit, at the end of the last game (I cannot even say the name of that team right now) when he was tapped to enter the game with less than 10 seconds left, he ran to the scorers table with high energy and was on the inbound passer. Perhaps this will turn into something positive for him.

In the last few games, I think Kaleb has played very well in the minutes that he has been getting. He has excelled playing the four spot, defending bigger players really well, and exploiting the mismatch on the offensive end. I really like him in this Draymond Green role.
I just wish Kaleb had more of an attitude. Or in Lic talk. -- meanery.
OK IM THE MEANARYWAYUP GUY he does have meanary and heart just needs to stay confident great last game. also he does defend well vs the other teams leading guys whether big or guard and goes to the hoop hard nose for the ball critical hustle plays yup hope rest of season he keep that up NEED his toughness and meanarywayup imo,. plus a VERY NICE YOUNG MAN yup if you get to meet him ask about S and B donuts in south hill va he IS south HILLY tough go hoyas go kaleb
go hoyas eat up and feast on the big east but win one by one by AT LEAST one and have some fun!!
It's nearly impossible to not really like a team-first guy that assumes whatever role his coaches ask of him. It's exceedingly easy to cheer for Kaleb and it makes me very happy when he does well. Keep it up, Kaleb!
I hope Kaleb has found his role on this team. If he can keep contributing as he did in the last few games, he will end his Hoya career on a strong note.
