Dumb out of the loop question: what’s the flower in his Twitter handle signify? He has been using it for a long time on Instagram. I could be totally wrong, but I always thought it represented the arc of his jump shot or something like that since he always uses it in pictures of him taking jump shots. LC, any idea when Jamorko was trying out for NBA scouts/teams?

For what it’s worth, he started tweeting on April 22.

That is 100% true. You can physically see him lose confidence and get down on himself after a bad turnover or a couple of missed shots.

Basketball is a game of anticipation...the remedy for his problem is to always be looking to the NEXT play...the best players SEE the next play before/as it unfolds...that outlook more often than not leads to success and builds confidence, as opposed to thinking/worrying about the last bad play which leads to the opposite outcome...so, don't dwell on what was...instead always focus positively/confidently on what is to be...

Imagine for one minute if you will if everything came together this next year for Jamarko. We’ve always known he has the skills, but what if he suddenly realizes that he has the tools to be the best player on the court. It seems to have started to click for him towards the tail end of last year....but if that carries over through the summer and into his senior year...not sure I could be happier for anyone than I would be for him.

He would be a monster. Hoping maturity reveals this for him.

JP could be a 15 and 8 guy, together with a plus defensive player, if he can keep that confidence.

Jamorko is the elder leader of the team now. The other elder leader decided to bail. This is his team now.

Everyone had an idea of what Jamorko should be as a player early into his career. He probably heard/read all the different takes and got frustrated at times why things didn't translate.
Over time he has grown and found a nice role for himself with the team.
Looking forward to see what happens his senior year.

I've been a Jamorko fan since his first game. This man has shown his character and his work ethic through some fairly public DNP-CDs and a lot of team turmoil. And he continues to show his character. I'm very much hoping that BB happens for a lot of reasons but a huge one is to see the improvements Pickett has made. I'm really pulling for him.

For the first time in a long time, there is little doubt whose team this is. It’s Jamarko’s!!

Just hope some of the new found appreciation for Pickett remains after his first game with some turnovers from trying to do too much or when he hits a cold streak or misses a defensive assignment. Kid definitely has his limitations, but has endured Ewing tough love, improved on defense and rebounding, remained loyal to the program when he would undoubtedly have been welcome elsewhere and quietly sacrificed some of his scoring while the coach allowed two heralded freshmen alpha guards to compete for lead dog on a team that eventually imploded.
