Dog and pony show. Of all the people to act as his “lawyer”, Cohen has Clinton fixer Lanny Davis? This is purely political. Lanny was on the other end of a political impeachment gambit by good ole’ Newt in the late 1990s, so who better to use on the political offensive?

Guy Petrillo former AUSA in SDNY is Cohen's real lawyer. Just as Pat Cippolone, Emmit Flood, and the Raskins are Trump's real lawyers, not the "TV" lawyer Giuliani or Sekulow.

I find it curious that the Senate Intelligence Committee issued a subpeona to Cohen. Don't the Repubs control the Senate panels? Apparently they weren't interested before. What's up now?

Burr -R NC is in on the whole scam. Remember, Trump is not really a Republican. He hijacked the party because it was so stupid that it thought the country would go for Jeb! The Republicans hate Trump almost as much as the Dems do.

The Republicans hate Trump almost as much as the Dems do. This may well be, but despite that, the vast majority of Republicans in the Senate continue to lick Trump's boots, or at least not speak out against him, out of abject fear that the Trump cultists, as SS calls them, will turn against them. True profiles in courage. None of these people will make an updated version of JFK's book.

The Republicans ran on promises and once the won they did nothing except collect donations from their donor base. Hence Trump. But I am not holding my breath waiting for Wall Street Schumer and his ilk to be portraits in courage. They kow-tow to Wall Street, Silicon Valley and identity politics and are as out of touch with ordinary people as McConnell, Ryan and crew.

The senators in the Democratic party aren't in control of Senate committees, the President has to worry about the House Democrats now... Elijah Cummings, Adam Schiff, Maxine Waters, Jerry Nadler ect.. will act far different with Nancy Pelosi at the helm than Trey Gowdy & Devin Nunez acted under Paul Ryan...

As expected, Roger Stone indicted on obstruction, false statements (including testimony to HPSCI), and witness tampering by SCO. Stone was with the Trump campaign early, through August 2015, but remained "close" to the campaign throughout 2016. The speaking indictment details his coordination with the Trump campaign and indicates that he was not freelancing. Reportedly taken into custody in Florida. All his alleged criminal conduct postdates the commencement of the SCO investigation. Will there be a superseding indictment regarding conduct allegedly committed during the election? The indictment: www.justice.gov/file/1124706/downloadParagraph 35 (emphasis supplied): On multiple occasions, STONE told senior Trump Campaign officials about materials possessed by Organization 1 and the timing of future releases. b. On or about October 3, 2016, STONE wrote to a supporter involved with the Trump Campaign, “Spoke to my friend in London last night. The payload is still coming.” c. On or about October 4, 2016, STONE told a high-ranking Trump Campaign officialthat the head of Organization 1 had a “serious security concern” but would release "a load every week going forward."

And, finally, President Trump has responded to Stone's indictment and arrest:

Today, the special counsel brought the story inside the Trump campaign, alleging that Roger Stone, longtime gadfly political operative, had acted as a kind of back channel between the campaign and WikiLeaks—funneling information between Julian Assange and senior officials of the Trump campaign about forthcoming releases of purloined emails. No, this is not the smoking gun many have been waiting for. A lot of the information contained in the indictment has been in the press for a while—and in any event, the relationship it alleges between the campaign and the Russian government is a complicated, and somewhat attenuated, one. But if the Roger Stone indictment doesn’t quite allege “collusion” between the Trump campaign and the Russians, it unambiguously alleges—in the language of Robert Mueller’s appointment letter—“links and/or coordination between the Russian government and individuals associated with the campaign of President Donald Trump.” Specifically, the indictment alleges that Stone and WikiLeaks were together coordinating between the Russian government and the Trump campaign over the release of information that, by then, had been publicly reported by Crowdstrike and many press outlets to have been stolen by the Russian government. www.lawfareblog.com/get-me-roger-stone-what-make-dirty-tricksters-indictmentA case for impeachment: www.theatlantic.com/magazine/archive/2019/03/impeachment-trump/580468/

More than a hundred seems like a lot....
From 2016 until the inauguration, Trump’s team had more than 100 in-person meetings, phone calls, text messages, emails and private messages on Twitter with Russians. Trump and his campaign repeatedly denied having contacts w/Russians during the election

Monica Lewinsky is to Bill Clinton as Donald Trump is to Vladimir Putin.

You are like a birther with your obsession with everything Russia.. or Joe McCarthy... The birther movement had zero facts to back up their claims... The Trump/Russia connection is loaded with facts, hard for me to believe you can't see the difference...

Trump - the ultimate angry white guy victim. While SSCI is apparently stating no "direct evidence" of conspiracy "circumstantial evidence" can be given the same weight as direct evidence as determined by the Trier of fact. SCO in possession of other evidence that SSCI not provy to. Including classified FISA take.
