This can't be true! Trump was only going to hire only the best people!! Lock him up! Lock him up!! (Flynn is not only a dishonest he is stupid -- as a former head of DIA he didn't think that Kisylak's telephone lines may have been subject to electronic surveillance? Makes you wonder what else FISA ELSUR has picked up on Trump Jr., Kushner, et al?) Imagine if Obama's National Security Adviser had lasted 3 weeks in office before resigning and ended up pleading guilty. The hypocritical Republicans would have been drafting articles of impeachment. This accounts for Trump becoming unhinged on Twitter this past week. Next up, Trump, Jr., Kushner? For those who are old enough to remember Watergate, this investigation is moving at warp speed by comparison. As one of those fossils who remembers Watergate (Nixon resigned three weeks before my freshman orientation on the Hilltop), this is indeed warp speed by comparison. Social media and the internet are certainly impacting upon the rapidity with which information is made known. There are larger fish yet to appear in the frying pan.

I anxiously await the next press conference by the Minister of Propaganda Baghdad Barbie (aka Sarah Huckabee Sanders). I assume it will mirror the pathetic statement issued by Ty Cobb attempting to tie Flynn to the Obama Administration. Recall that Obama told Trump not to hire Flynn as did Chris Christie.

I didn't realize that a nothingburger could be so satiating! Need a bottle of Mueller Genuine Draft (an indictment) to wash it down.

Ok. Who's next to flip? If I were a betting man, I'd be thinking Jared Kushner.
Brings a whole new meaning to the jewelry store slogan. . ."He went to Jared."

My feeling is that Flynn must have lots to give. Frankly, I can't understand why Flynn would lie about this particular event, since it seems fairly innocuous. It makes me think that Flynn must have lied about a lot of things, and Mueller is letting him skate by exposing only a lie that seems inconsequential. Can't wait to see what happens next.

"To those dismissing Flynn plea as "just" one count of lying, NB: ONE count specified FOUR lies. Statement of Offense included three other lies re: FARA. Plus Mueller did not charge on failure to report Russia payments or SF 86 omissions. Standard to soften when defendant cooperates."

Anyone gullible enough to believe that John Dowd wrote that tweet? Wonder if Mueller will seek to interview Dowd/Scavino re: the tweet using the crime-fraud exception to privilege or subpoena them to testify before the grand jury. Anyone also believe as a legal matter that the President can't obstruct justice? The question remains: Why the lying? It seems that the Flynn lies make sense if connected to the others told by Trump and others with Trump’s knowledge about the Russian relationship over the course of his campaign and presidency. Trump has boasted periodically about the transformative potential of an improved diplomatic and strategic relationship with Russia. But at the same time, he has categorically rejected suggestions that the relationship was personally or politically beneficial to him. Trump denied extensive business or financial ties to Russia and any political alliance built on mutual interest, which during the campaign included a shared animus toward Clinton and the objective of electing him. In numerous instances, Trump’s claims have foundered on the known facts. He and those acting under this direction have engaged in an extensive pattern of misleading and flatly false statements about the Russia relationship. www.lawfareblog.com/flynns-plea-and-significance-lying-russia-investigationApproval down to 33% yet the GOP Congress still supports this guy? ^ NBC: The president's lawyer claims he drafted the president's tweet, and then sent it to White House social media director to publish as the president.
When asked for the original email he sent to aide, the president's lawyer claimed he dictated it orally.
LOL....
President is above the law according to his lawyer..... No reason to make this type of claim unless you think there's a strong case to made that he did.

Above the law? Now I get the love showered on Steven Seagal by Duterte, Putin, and Trump! What's next - Under Siege, On Deadly Ground, or Hard to Kill?
