Might need to add an orange suit to his wardrobe!

Some confusion on this. The indictment refers to Coach 2 as being an assistant coach, but all other indicators do make this appear to be Pitino. The indictment may have misidentified the coach's position.

Might have already been mentioned but how does Sean Miller still have a job?

This might have already been mentioned in that if all of these allegations and possible proof of allegations this could potentially be not so good news for the BE. Let's say if the BE coaches and programs come out relatively clean and the other big conference schools start losing personnel. And if these other conference schools are looking to cleanup their act and perceive the BE as a fairly clean conference then it is possible they will be going after BE coaches and other personnel.
Losses by way of being clean.

Losses by way of being clean. Interesting thought, but I still don't think there's going to be a massive wave of resignations/firings. Could this expand beyond the named parties to 10, 15, maybe even 20 head coaches? It's certainly possible but I still think widespread problems (at least to the extent as the ones named in the indictment) are less likely.

Cheating is clearly widespread, but you can't implicate everyone. At some point folks will say, "our guy was cheating, but so was everyone else."

Rumblings out west indicating that something will be happening at Arizona, involving Sean Miller, in the next 24-48 hours. Unable to verify. . .but something on which to keep an eye.

I must say that with all of the sad news with the many hurricane victims, and the chaotic news cycle in general, I am happy to have a news story that I follow with pure glee every day!
While we always felt that Ricky P was a slime ball, Sean Miller is almost up there with him. At least Pitino won!
We are up to 7 programs now in the mix, and more sure to come once the FBI and US Atty. break open the Nike Pandora's box, and possibly UA...

Can we stop this...our program also has a relationship with an Agent and is deeply intertwined with Nike. I doubt there was money being passed around, just influence, but until this all shakes out, no one in CBB is safe.

Nobody is going to poach PE, and if some AAU kingpins are taken off the board, that only helps us as he has made it clear that he isn't particularly interested in kissing those rings. Why would Jay Wright leave Nova to clean up a mess at Auburn or Arizona? Our asset - primary, and maybe only - is our 1980's generated brand identity. As bribes and inducements become less valuable, our reputation becomes more valuable. Its all good

The "G" stands/stood for something and Ewing and staff are working to make Gtown great again!

You're right, but until the news drops that we threw a bag of money at Caprio to secure his preferred walk on status I'm with Jld on this one....

With a new head coach and no recent success, we don't really have much to lose even if we are caught up in it. The worst case for us is some NCAA penalties, while other programs will be firing HOF coaches, losing top recruiters and the systematic cheating that brought them recruiting success in the first place, losing recruiting classes and current players to transfers and ineligibility. We are already rebuilding and now a bunch of top 25 programs are about to start having to completely unexpectedly. Even if we were playing this game, we were clearly awful at it, so watching it implode can only benefit us to some degree.

Miami Louisville Arizona...have been roadblocks in our recruiting in recent yrs. It will be good to remove them out of our way for a few yrs. With Ewing's broad appeal to recruits n coaches nationwide and the Georgetown brand in general...i think we'll get some recruiting victories and also be more on the radar with future recruits. I suspect alot kids parents will become leery of certain programs in which it will help our rebuild.

I agree entirely, it's just that the glee some are getting out of this seems pre-mature. It's been a couple of days and dominos are still falling. It'll be nice to be on an even playing field but no need to count our chickens before they're hatched.
