I had Carter with 19, 3-4 from 3... Was he good on the boards again Yaboy? I didn't watch the whole game, just watched/skimmed through the 2nd half. He scored 16 in the second, the boxscore said he had 3 at half... The game is online on the link above for anyone who wants to watch.

I watched the game, unfortunately the Guyer team doesn't run very much for Carter.. As has been posted he looks to be a very good shooter, if folks want to skip to his 3pt attempts they come @ the 23:42, 47:55, 49:48(miss) & 1:08.. Had 15 that game.... The was the game on Friday where Harmon went for 37 against 5 star Tyrese Maxey. They don't run a lot of stuff for anyone other than Harmon tbh.. Carter definitely looks more like a stretch 4 than a 3 though. Needs to diversify and get in the post more imo

Basketball: No. 2 Guyer overcomes slow start to knock off Marcus www.dentonrc.com/sports/high-schools/2017/11/28/basketball-2-guyer-overcomes-slow-start-knock-marcus"They tried to get into our head a little bit," Guyer junior De'Vion Harmon said. "We were a little stagnant offensively, but we came back and stayed positive." It didn't take Guyer long to turn things back in its favor. The Wildcats got the ball to open the third and pushed it up the court before senior Grayson Carter, who has signed with Georgetown, threw down a big dunk to give Guyer a 35-34 lead. Carter had nine points in the frame and finished with 19. "[The dunk] sped up the tempo and put us in the right mindset," Carter said. "We let them hit us in the first half, but we came out better in the second." With Carter beginning to take over, Guyer used full-court pressure to speed the game up. Wilson and Carter used their length to create turnovers, and Harmon took advantage of the increase in transition opportunities to lead all scorers with 24 points. Guyer (6-0) -- De'Vion Harmon 24, Grayson Carter 19, Jalen Wilson 15, Chris Craig 11, JaKobe Coles 11, Ty Mcghie 2.

CYPRESS — The Guyer Wildcats moved to 16-0 by claiming their second consecutive tournament championship, defeating Waxahachie 77-71 on Saturday in the Cypress tournament. Guyer used a solid defensive first half to guide it to victory. The Wildcats held a 12-point lead going into the break. Jalen Wilson took charge of the Wildcat offense, putting up a team-high 24 points. Also contributing in the win were Grayson Carter (13 points) and JaKobe Coles (10). The Wildcats secured a spot in the final by dominating Austin Westlake 70-47 earlier in the day. Wilson (17), Carter (15) and Coles (13) were the top scorers in that contest as well. Guyer will head home to host Rockwall at 7:30 p.m. Tuesday. www.dentonrc.com/sports/high-schools/2017/12/09/basketball-roundup-guyer-remains-undefeated-grabscypress-tourney-championship

I wonder if Carter could slot into Derrickson's role.
