Something to think about....

I guess by "slip through" we mean got a majority of Republican primary votes in their districts?
Pretty sad that we live in a time where these people feel embolden enough to run, and that they garner enough support to win a primary...

So the wife on one mf my friends (who hates Trump) vehemently supports Trump because she says he is good for Israel and good for the Jews. Putting aside the Israel question, which is at least debatable, I told my friend that someone who caters to white nationalists and neo-Nazis is most definitely not good for the Jews.

So your friend's wife is okay with screw everyone else as long as it's good for Israel? Interesting. Come to think of it, if you substituted the word "Trump" for the word "Israel" in the first sentence, that does sound very Trump-ian.

But I'm sure she's not the only person who thinks that one issue trumps all else (no pun intended). My point, though, is that her conclusion is wrong anyway.

OT but there's that word "treason" again. And oddly just like the recent talks of treason coming from this Republican administration it's used in the context of doing something the President doesn't like.
Gotta love the special side off sexism tossed in there for good measure....

Trump supporters indicted -- the base of the GOP. Not all Republicans are racists but all racists are drawn to the GOP and Trump! Four California men, all alleged members of an organized hate group, were arrested Tuesday and charged with violating a federal rioting law in connection with last year’s white-supremacist rally in Charlottesville that erupted in deadly mayhem. Dozens of the white supremacists taking part in the rally wore red Make America Great Again hats and were vocal in their support of Trump. At an afternoon news conference on the day of the rioting, Trump condemned “this egregious display of hatred, bigotry and violence on many sides. On many sides.” David Duke, a former Ku Klux Klan leader and a Trump supporter who was in Charlottesville for the Unite the Right rally, replied to the president, writing, “I would recommend you take a good look in the mirror & remember it was White Americans who put you in the presidency, not radical leftists.” www.washingtonpost.com/local/public-safety/federal-officials-to-announce-additional-charges-in-2017-unite-the-right-rally-in-charlottesville/2018/10/02/60881262-c651-11e8-9b1c-a90f1daae309_story.html

It doesn't fix anything but it's a step in the right direction.
