They just got destroyed last night. So much for crowning Brad Underwood Yeah, his five plus years have been a real failure. I’m sure he wishes he followed the Pat Ewing playbook.

They just got destroyed last night. So much for crowning Brad Underwood I can't imagine being this obtuse to point out Illinois losing on the road to an 11-1 team that was coached by the guy that most people on here wanted.

Rinse and Repeat. As soon as one little thing happens to diminish someone’s take he’s on here in a flash to point out how incredibly wrong they were and how great his basketball knowledge is. I think in a way to protect the Ewing / Thompson critiques. Idk. I’m just surprised he didn’t manage to fit in “Pack the Line”, “The Meyer family at DePaul”, “Freedom of Movement”, “Curtis Staples” or “Nickelback” in this post though. Those are the other hits on the Bingo card if you’re playing your own drinking game at home.

Lots and lots of grievances being aired on the Board today.
Then I remembered it is Festivus.

This program has been irrelevant for a decade now. We are not playing in games that matter, like in the second week of the NCAAs. No one cares about the BET, NCAA performance is everything.

It’s been almost 16 years since we made the second weekend which is just insane to think about. I was in 7th grade and now I’m 28 years old lol

The fact that some on here continue to defend this is despicable. What’s even worse is that The President of the University is pretending that we are in a position that can’t succeed. When are we going to realize this is all a sham to continue to pay the Thompson’s for nothing?

A great ChristmasTIME movie An ACTION movie that takes place during Christmas Let's derail the thread for Christmas!! Merry Christmas!! Well, now, because of the dreaded incentives of social media, we force debate upon ourselves all the time, even at the most wonderful time of the year. And we do so even when our arguments hold no promise of a resolution. By which I mean that, once again, people are logging on for a holiday argument they have had many times before: Is the 1988 action movie Die Hard, in which Bruce Willis fights terrorists in a Los Angeles skyscraper on Christmas Eve, a Christmas movie? Once again, tweets and Facebook posts about whether Die Hard is actually a Christmas movie are spiking. Posts about whether it’s original or cool to talk about Die Hard’s status as a Christmas movie are also spiking. An influencer family with 4.8 million Facebook followers recently shared a horrific musical “parody” in which they claimed to be addressing “a heated debate” that they have “every year” and asked viewers to take sides in the comments. (Oh boy, did they!) www.theatlantic.com/technology/archive/2021/12/is-die-hard-christmas-movie/620926/

Is Patrick Ewing more like
- LADP Deputy Chief Dwayne T. Robinson, a man so stubborn and so resistant to changing tactics that he ignores the advice of others that the terrorists have heavy artillery and loses a tank because of his incompetence
- the FBI, who are obsessed with offense and cut the grid power, not realizing that defense is important too? The FBI unwittingly allow Gruber into the safe by disengaging the electromagnetic lock and their refusal to put up a solid defense. The FBI are also willing to sacrifice all the hostages on the roof, much like Patrick Ewing is willing to sacrifice all of his players to the transfer portal.
