Everytime I think St. John's is close they lose some body. Don't know about Williams but Ellison seemed to be a solid contributor. Even with Chris Mullins the school just cannot seem to get over the hump. Multiple transfers are never a good look.

Very nice pull for Cooley/Providence.. That's pretty surprising. If Bullock comes back, maybe Cooley finally wins an NCAA Tournanent game next season.

Does last year's win against USC not count? Nope it was the play in game. In 2016, Providence was a number 9 seed and they beat the number 8 seed (USC) 70-69. Providence then lost in the 2nd round to North Carolina 85-66.

Green Bay graduate transfer Kerem Kanter, the younger brother of Oklahoma City Thunder big man Enes Kanter, will play for Xavier if he opts to return to college, he told ESPN on Tuesday. Kerem Kanter said he will keep his name in for the NBA draft. but he will not hire an agent. "My priority is still to go to the NBA," the 6-foot-10 Kanter said. He would be eligible to play immediately at Xavier if he withdraws from NBA draft consideration by May 24. Kanter was one of the most sought-after transfer big men on the market the past couple weeks, with Kansas, Michigan State, Pittsburgh, Kansas State and others reaching out. www.espn.com/mens-college-basketball/story/_/id/19135163/kerem-kanter-transfer-xavier-musketeers-exits-nba-draft-consideration

Wouldn't the Big East rule people mentioned with regard to Waters prevent him from committing to Georgetown? Or maybe he didn't sign a letter, so it doesn't apply?
