Ha. Oh for gods sake. I make no assumptions as to gender or marital status and henpecked is undeniably a better word. Balderdash. Apparently not speaking the same language. From Antonin Scalia's least favorite dictionary: EasyBib Definition of henpeck transitive verb: to subject (one's husband) to persistent nagging and domination

Oh man, it is always tough to say goodbye to a Hoya, and LJ was one of the finest we've had. LJ is a player who grew noticeably every year at Georgetown, a testament to the work ethic that will guarantee him success throughout his playing career, and his life. LJ, thank you for both the countless highlight plays, and your steady effort throughout your time at Georgetown. All the best to you and your family. Now, take a rest, maybe a few days with the little lady in Nola, or the Bahamas or something, and then get to work!

I remember he was supposed to be the problem child from that class. lol The 'problem child' doesn't appear to be hewing to the social media narrative about the program. I wish him great luck in pursuing his dream. I don't doubt he meant everything he wrote but don't act like even if he didn't he would burn bridges and look like a complainer before trying to get drafted. That was a pretty canned statement that could've easily been written by the agent.

Selfishly, I'm sorry to see him go. Best of luck to LJ. I wish him nothing but success and the realization of even his loftiest of goals. Hoya Saxa!

He easily could have said he's fully appreciative of all the support from the university, staff, etc.

Best of luck to LJ... South Carolina, the team that LJ has spurned by throwing its hat in the announcement to join us, made sweet 16 by beating Duke, and i wonder what went through his mind when he saw that....

From Antonin Scalia's least favorite dictionary: EasyBib Definition of henpeck transitive verb: to subject (one's husband) to persistent nagging and domination I was making a joke. www.merriam-webster.com/dictionary/jokeDefinition of joke 1 a : something said or done to provoke laughter; especially : a brief oral narrative with a climactic humorous twist b (1) : the humorous or ridiculous element in something (2) : an instance of jesting

Has LJ actually signed with an agent officially? I wonder if he's watching the coach section carefully and would consider coming back if an amazing hire was made.

For the past two seasons, LJ was the one player who evidently responded and developed in the way that I had come to expect JT3's players do. So, I think he was sincere.

Just think next year's draft gives him a better shot for an NBA contract. But he has paid his NCAA dues, depending on the team's success, other possibility is pulling a Thornwell next year (regular season shine in BE, improve jumper numbers if we get a PG)

Maybe if Waters is back on board. I expect Patrick to bring in entirely new perspective to coaching that these kids will like.

I get freshmen rarely make a big impact, but for LJ think this would help a lot...hoping he keeps his options open. My guess is its a risk he calculated in/willing to play overseas.

I had not even thought about the fact that LJ might decide to return for a year under Ewing. I still tend to think that it's unlikely, but it's an interesting choice, essentially a year to improve under someone with very recent NBA experience and connections. I'm not going to draw too much from it, but it's interesting.

He'd have to learn a new offense. Not thinking he's reconsidering. Waters is different since he's a freshman but LJ is gone unless his not really agent says otherwise.

Even without having to learn a new offense, the prospects for next year are pretty bleak. If he wants to be featured and show out, that opportunity was there before today. I have to assume that he's ready to move on and, without significant changes to the roster, that's not changing. I'd love to be wrong, however. I'd really like to see what LJ could do with one more off-season and college season.
