Well reasoned response. If we ran a well-structured offense he wouldn't end up forcing so many shots. Our team would be much better if we didn't break down so often and rely on him to hoist something up and bail us out. When he makes them we play teams close and still mostly lose. When he misses, we get blown out. you just said that pryor wasn't one of the most talented players on the team. how should i respond to a straight up idiotic comment? blaming III for everything is BS. he AND the players share this debacle. the players just aren't very good and make grade school mistakes. I don't believe he is - I think he's forced to score due to our ineptitude and people mistake point totals for talent. He's awful on defense and if he's not scoring or his shot is off he doesn't contribute in other ways. Also, calling a stance with which you disagree "idiotic" might feel good as you type it but it doesn't make you seem very smart. |

Rodney Pryor is doing everything today, even crashing the offensive boards that lead to a run stopping put back.
Pryor is so hot right now that he is doing somersaults on the court.

IMO pryor easily has the best perimeter jumper and is the best at creating his own shot on the team and it's not close. peak is out of control way too much. we will have to agree to disagree then. |

There are a lot of Villanova fans here. They've slowly started making more noise as the lead grows. Now that Rodney has gone cold, we are really struggling. Akoy has been the only inside player to do anything today. He has actually played decently well. But our guards and our interior play has been terrible.
Also, Villanova is really good. They make it look so easy to get an open look. They're so quick, and their passes are so crisp and direct. It's a remarkable contrast.

Nova is 10/12 from the line and we are 2/2. Have to make an effort to get to the line. The only reason we have FT's is because we are in the bonus.

We just have too many guys who give us virtually nothing on offense. Our point guards can't shoot, so they don't even try; Marcus had pretty much lost his offensive confidence; Tre and Reggie have nothing but a random three on occasion; Akoy is a "garbage man" but has no real moves. When LJ and Govan are off like today, we force things, turn it over trying to create anything resembling a good shot, etc.
