Will you do any others after the season? Yes, I’m trying to get to Georgetown after the season, coach Pat Ewing, hometown. North Carolina State officially and South Carolina. I had that planned but the hurricane cancelled it.

Glad he's looking to visit us. For the record, the article says the two schools prioritizing him are UVA and Stanford.
Who is prioritizing you right now? "Definitely say Virginia and Stanford, those were my first two official visits. UVA, coach [Tony] Bennett he said that I was his first priority."

Williams was in need of a big outing and he really delivered. The perfect plug-and-play type of forward that can produce both in the half-court setting and whenever the speed of the game gets ramped up, he had a productive outing at Hoophall. Valued greatly for his perimeter shot-making abilities (and he did can a trio of threes) it was nice to see him put the ball on the floor, score through contact, and also put his nose into plays on the glass. He has already visited Stanford and Virginia and thanks to his translatable skillset for the college game, high IQ and major grades in the classroom, Williams will continue to lead a high-major, nationwide recruitment as things bleed into his senior travel season. basketballrecruiting.rivals.com/news/hoophall-classic-sophomore-and-junior-stock-boosters

I hope he is warm to the idea of staying at home and making his mark. It has been a long time since a Gonzaga guy stayed in DC and played for the Hoyas...Mark Tillmon!!

Want. Would be a great pickup from the WCAC. Seems like we have a good shot at the top guys from the WCAC in 2020 and beyond. Have to think that's the Pat effect. We haven't won a WCAC recruiting battle in wayyy too long. Give me Williams and Timberlake in 2020 and I will be a happy man.

Clearly one of my top targets/favorites...smart, tough, and versatile...and you can tell his mom is a great influence, and we all know Georgetown loves moms! ("Jeff Green's mom!")...

But they might also be fans of the current members of the team as well! (Earl Timberlake)

(Earl Timberlake) Can someone translate this to an old head like me? I'd read that one as being about a WCAC game--Bishop McNamara (Mac) against Saint John's College High School (SJC)--and not about McClung. But I could be wrong. I do think McClung's popularity on many different basketball-related social media and youtube channels is underratedly important for recruiting in the future, though.

Just back from WCAC semis, which featured a pair of upsets (SJCP over #1 seed Dematha 53-52, then #2 seed Paul VI blows about a 13 point first half lead to lose going away to a scrappy Gonzaga team 63-55). But the news for this thread's purposes is that as the second game -- featuring Gonzaga and Terrance Williams -- was about to start then shortly after it started, in walks first Robert Kirby, then Patrick, then Louis Orr. And Jon Wallace may have ended up sitting with them (couldn't be sure it was him from a ways off). They all sat game long in the front row/corner baseline/Gonzaga student section --looking directly at the Gonzaga bench). Presumably this showing/love was for Terrance. (I was sitting right near the entrance area, and while I can't be positive, don't think they were there for the Dematha/SJCP game at all...)

Williams would be a solid get because we need WCAC kids but I don't think he's a star unless he really starts to shoot it.

Agree on Stute. Looks good in a uniform, but not much there

Gonzaga won WCAC tourney, beating SJCP 60-56 in final. Williams with some big big foul shots down the stretch. He rather reminds me of Paul White build and game wise (though not the player White was — at least not yet). But very very limited sample on my part. Interested in views of others who may have seen him a lot — but getting that pipeline back open to Gonzaga would be great regardless... FYI, Gonzaga won both WCAC football and basketball championships this year, and both times by beating out very highly nationally ranked teams to do so going into play-offs. Maybe God really is purple — or at least a Jesuit...😀
