The first Tweet on Coach Ewing's account in almost a year.

Wow. Great stuff. All the way around. Jagan made a huge positive impact on the program.
That's kind of what life is all about. Making a positive impact wherever you go, whatever you do. Leaving this place a little better than when you came into it.
Jagan is set up to succeed in life. I have absolutely no doubt that we will be reading about his accomplishments, and continued positive impacts, over many years to come.
Well done, Jagan. Congratulations. And thank you for being you.

Jabril has always been a top 10 Hoya defender in my book. Is Jagan above or below him?

Hated to see Jagan go out with a performance like tonight. Just nothing left in the tank. But thanks for 4 years of intense effort every day.

Trying to make light out of a dark situation, is a pandemic enough for a medical redshirt for Jagan?

Jabril has always been a top 10 Hoya defender in my book. Is Jagan above or below him? I would not have Jabril in the top ten, but I would have Jagan above him. I never got to see players like Duren or Floyd from the pre-Ewing era, and I only started watching Hoya basketball religiously in 1985-86. So my top ten list is necessarily incomplete. Off the top of my head, my totally unscientific and insufficiently considered list might include Ewing, Mourning, Mutombo, Wingate, McDonald, Porter, Touomou, Aw, Trawick, Mosely, Joey Brown?, Jaren Jackson?... Guys like Touomou, Aw, Trawick, and Mosely may have been tough-minded, hustlers and competitors more than elite defenders...

He was all sizzle and no steak on defense with his clapping and gesticulating.

Honorable mention to Wingate for the job he did on Mullin in the ‘85 BET and NCAA

Jagan, Jwall, Jabril, Jeff - among my favorite to rep the blue and gray.

It's difficult to find people like Jagan in any pursuit. I'll forever love the man for his loyalty and for not leaving an ounce in the tank. There's honor in that, regardless of any W/L record. I wish, for his sake, his teams had gone further. I'm very much hoping that the ethos that he demonstrated remains as his legacy with teams that follow. That would be an appropriate tribute. I have no doubt that he'll be a success in whatever he chooses next. And, as ever, I'll be rooting for him. True Hoya.
