One more result from Iowa State and it is a good one.
Joe White won the 800m in a great time of 1:46.44 with former Hoya Ryan Manahan, running for Ole Miss, finished 5th in 1:47.76.

After the Iowa State meet the men moved up from 51st to 25th in the nation (only Big East team in the top 25). This result is mainly due to three men plus the DMR team. Joe White is 4th in the nation in the 800m, Scott Carpenter is 10th in the nation in the 3000m, wh ile Jon Green is 12th in the nation in the 5000m. With some luck these three will be running in the NCAA indoor champs. The DMR team is ranked 4th at this time, although they want to secure their place at the NCAA at the Alex Wilson meet at Notre Dame coming up.
The women on the other hand are ranked 99th in the country. Their highest ranker is Kennedy Weisner at 21st in the mile. On a regional basis the women rank 10th and the men 3rd.
