For their performances in the Nittany Lion challenge meet, both Joe White and Emma Keenan have won Big East athletes of the week. Both have the best times over 1000m in the Big East. Emma also ran a leg on the DMR, which is also best in the Big East.
Track and Field News current issue has the top times of 2016. The women's 4x800 relay team had the best time in the country at 8:26.02. The women's DMR team was the 2nd in the nation only 0.19 s behind Stanford. Of course, their DMR team was the NCAA champs. Their 4x1500 team was 3rd in the nation. The men came in at 20th, 8th, and 3rd for the 4x800, DMR, and 4x1 mile teams.
